A bit ridiculous, a bit puzzling. Can you figure out a rhyme that will tie the two parts of these clues together? All answers include rhymes for the first and last name...well, with the exception of #3.
Example:
Night in the Museum star's ink cartridges = Ben Stiller's pen fillers
-1. Jethro is bald! -2. "The Rose" singer's musicians are caught in a rainstorm -3. Idol judge's nimbus -4. Singer lost the day the music died has a dirty GI Joe -5. Martial arts expert's sloppy patella -6. "Biloxi Blues" playwright's genuine gem -7. Former Idol judge's tropical fruit meadow -8. Bourne star's obese croc -9. "The Hammer's" fancy waterbird (think baseball) -10. "Talking In Your Sleep" singer's firearm malfunctions
A late entry... -11. Garden mod has wild turkey runners?
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Sounds good to me, manxman I had the past tense in the clue but fixed it now. "Crystal Gayle's pistol fails."

Good rhymes! Just the one left now. I left a hint on the original post.
