I am cosidering changing from XP to Windows 8. Being a gamer I am concerned about what roadblocks I might face wih the games I have.
Are any of you using Win8 and how do you like it? I am told it was designed for the various Pad types of equipment instead of the traditional desktop PC...
Any information you can share will be appreciated to make me aware of things I should know.
A great day to all of you and Thank You.

Cherie, we have a post stickied at the top of the Glitches forum with tons of information about Windows 8 and Games. Check it out and ask any questions you have and we'll try to answer them for you.
My personal experience with Windows 8 Pro and games has been excellent with both old and new games. The old 16-bit games don't work, but they didn't work in Windows 7 either.

That's really interesting, Jenny. When 8.1 is released, we may need to add somthing to the thread about that. I'll retry some of the games that didn't work in Windows 8 once I get my upgrade.
