There was someone at another board I used to post at that used to do things like this. She would write grand adventures and huge epic thrillers and even the occasional poem. She would put in as many names of other posters as she could fit in.

In every single one I walked into a room and got shot. Even in her christmas poems. It was a running joke that made me somewhat uncomfortable. It was so nice to see my name in this poem without reading about my subsequent demise. Thank you for not killing me, Syd. It is a very nice poem.

Great poem syd! I first became a member here right before Christmas last year (don't remember when exactly) but I must have just missed the opportunity to be in your annual Christmas poem. But now seeing my name there, I feel so special, like I'm officially a part of this family now. And I think we all appreciate all the work you put into making this spectacular poem.
