What Rushes said. grin You're right, I didn't find the Black Mirror games scary at all, nor did I find Gray Matter scary. All four were great games, though. smile

Venus and all

I did all the cognition and broken sword, Forgot to mention Most mortem 2 and 3.
I agreee that Black mirror serie and Gray matter are not scary game. But I find Black mirror witch I did twice, all 3 of them (rarely I play a game twice) is a great fascinating game. Wish there would be more of that kind or even a follow-up. Scratches puts your nerves in a ball and is hair rising, really enjoyed that one. (See! I am a bad case of baag lol)

About Walking death I was refering to the old movie "The night of the walking deaths" year 1975 witch is considering artistic in the cinema world. But it did bored me.

Since there is nothing for me on the game market I think I will redo Amnesia Dark descent.

Great movie - and the book by Shirley Jackson, on which the movie is based, is outstanding.

Cyanne, yes I'd just wait a little while. I think there are a lot of games yet to be released that you would probably be interested in, but unfortunately they're just not out yet. Keep an eye out for Blackenrock. I'm hoping it will be released within the next couple of months, but it has been delayed a few times, so we may have to wait longer than we'd like. Still, I think that is the game that best matches your criteria, and hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Hi
It might be beside the subject but I just did Dracula Origin for the 2nd time. Something is bothering me is, in the credits they do not mention who wrote this beautiful music. I tried to find out on the net and I came with a Japanese name and they don't mention much about it. Does anyone know who did composed it?
It might be old style but I just love that game. (And what a gorgeous Dracula, witch we don't see very often in the game lol)

2 months to wait for blackenrock, I will go crazy waiting and like venus said it has been delayed so many times.

I impatient to see the new frogware game Call of Chtulu also. In my youth I used to like Lovecraft. Not all his books but a few. The graphic looks gorgeous, for me anyway.

Marian
I read the book by S. Jackson about 3 times and saw the movies at least 6 times hehe. We should ask Jonathan Boarke to do it.

Ok, I am going into bat for the zombies zombie
Not all zombies are alike. I do enjoy The Walking Dead (series. graphic novel and game)but for a different take try the French series The Returned (about to be remade in English as Resurrection) or the English series In the Flesh. Both intelligent and different looks at the phenomena, and if you like ghosts I defy you not to like The Returned.
Then there is the slightly cheesy movie Warm Bodies, or the horrific 28 Days Later in which the living are almost worst than the dead, a la Lord of the Flies.
Then read I Am Legend. The Will Smith movie version is ok but avoid the Heston version (The Omega Man).
Zombie Le Chuck was a bit of fun too.
Who could forget the British band The Zombies wrote and first performed the much re-recorded She's Not There.
And Pride and Prejudice has never been more entertaining devil

I do think that zombies in all media are quite popular - but there are many great ghost adventures games that are great and well worth playing.

One of which was The Ghost of Thorton Hall - which was scary in a cool way which for a Nancy Drew game was a nice surprise.

I love playing adventure games like Gemini Rue on my ipad mini and Gray Matter on my PC Netbook.

Night of the Living Dead was the first and last zombie movie for me and I have no desire whatever to play a game full of them or watch a TV series about them.
What there is about watching dead, decaying human beings lurch about menacing the living that's so enthralling is completely beyond me.
I'm with the OP.
Ugh.
