Pity this won't apply to those, like me, who will be downloading the game from Gog but backed it via Kickstarter

I also pre-ordered this game from GOG. but, as far as I know, I HAVEN'T received the "code" which gives me access to one of the older TEX games. How and where did you get YOUR "code"?

Hi Sandy, according to the GOG website, the code for the free game is emailed to you within a few days after having preordered. Make sure you don't have any unread emails from GOG (and check your spam folder). If your code doesn't show up soon, I would write to them and let them know.

Thanks a lot, Marian. I just e-mailed GOG explaining my situation, so I'm waiting for a reply from them. They are VERY good when it comes to their support and quick replies. I'll let you know what happens after they reply to me.

I backed Tex on Kickstarter and I must have specified that I wanted to get the game through GOG.
(I really don't remember after almost two years!)
Anyway, the code for one of the older games came to my Gmail address in one of the last Tesla Effect updates.

Sanford I just preordered the game and the free game code arrived in minutes. Check your e-mail my code was attached at the bottom of the e-mailed receipt for the pre-order.

I just looked at the receipt\confirmation e-mail from GOG,Oldmariner, and I do NOT have a GAME CODE at the bottom of the e-mail. I'll just have to wait for the reply from GOG Support. I KNOW this will be "straightened out". Thanks so much for your input.

I received a code and I sure didn't back for $250 though I did go a little crazy with my donation to the cause.
Anyway, Big Finish sent me the code, not GOG, and I have already redeemed it (on GOG) for one of the old Tex games.

While Double Fine used Steam to throw an imperfect game out there to elicit comments from anyone who wanted to buy it, Big Finish Games kept their beta-testing to a relative few backers who paid to do it and I imagine they must have done it a while ago since the game is only 16 days from definite release.

So I assumed you meant the beta as its the only code that big finish have emailed out lately.

the beta testing was really only sent out on 23rd march for the backers & it was only a small section towards the end of the game, atlus were beta testing throughout the game. So yes are are still fixing & improving the game.

GOG e-mailed me today, and said that I probably will get that CODE tomorrow via E-mail. They apologized for the delay.

Sandy, the code in my e-mail receipt was for the free game which I downloaded at once. Mean Streets the only one I didn't have. Also the link for Tesla is already your account. It shows in your games list with a note saying (Soon). As with other preorders they post them in your account at once. You only need to log in on release day go to your lists and download. Non Gog code needed. It's like Broken Sword 5. If you bought it you see two files one for part one which you can DL now and Part two listed as soon. The same holds true for the Jensen game. For the first time ever I have three (Soons) in my account.

Thanks for that info, Oldmariner. I also purchased the Broken Sword Episode 5 games, as well as MOEBIUS and TESLA, from GOG, and I am convinced that they all are being released----- "SOON". LOL
