The clues in 1-10 all define words in obscure ways. A-J contains the actual definitions or descriptions of the words. Determine the real words and match them with the similar-sounding descriptions. Example: “Set of twelve” (dozen) would match with “meditate” (do Zen). Please explain your answers.

-1. good French auto
-2. straw conductor
-3. destitute character
-4. peddle perch
-5. happy proboscis
-6. famous one's portion
-7. holler a pained word
-8. unable to run away and marry
-9. sphere of radiance
-10. pet a seagull

-a. cowardly
-b. party
-c. egocentric
-d. early diamond?
-e. guide
-f. bouquet
-g. worldwide
-h. painting
-i. out of whack
-j. melon

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
