It's not clear whether a word or phrase was already in existence in Shakespeare's lifetime or if he invented it. In any case, his plays provide us with the earliest use of many of these phrases. Can you name that play? = 1. "The world's mine oyster" = 2. "Obscene" = 3. "Bedazzled" = 4. "In stitches" = 5. "Addiction" = 6. "Naked truth" = 7. "Faint-hearted" = 8. "Send him packing" = 9.
