It's okay. No problem. We all start learning things. By tomorrow, you will be an expert. I sent the saved game again. -------------- Hope it worked for you.

How do I get to the stone by the large lantern in the pond? I keep on missing it. I just wind up going around and around the pond.
Found it!

I just replied to your email, but I'll repeat here. The game blinked? I'm not sure what you mean. The file that I sent you was a save file for the completed puzzle. It should put you just past that point in the game if it is loaded correctly. Did you place the save file in the folder along with all your other saves for the game? Then when you go into the game itself and go to your load screen, among all of your own saves you should see one for "17 balcony lock door done". That's the one you want. You shouldn't have to start over from the beginning.

Here's a screenshot of the solved Amateur puzzle. See if it is the same as yours. Go row by row. If you want to go saved game route - we can do that too.
