I've packed my bags, worried many hours over my arrangements, bothered people with loads of questions - tomorrow I travel to Cologne to go to Gamescom 2014. Even before I start on my train journeys it's been a strange voyage, not always as I expected.

My hope while there is to learn about new games on the horizon (and pass that to BrownEyedTigre to pass on to you good folks), and also to meet those who develop the games to understand what it's like to be a game developer. I need to express my heartfelt thanks to Marita and the staff of GameBoomers for enabling me to represent GameBoomers at Gamescom.

I'll be returning later on Saturday. Sorry I don't know how easy it'll be for me to post while at Gamescom, this may be something I write up afterwards.

Kickaha, I am so excited for you. I know you've been looking forward to this for a long time! Can't wait to hear from you!
