One thing to try-----Go to gear in top right and then "Compatability view settings" and add Gameboomers.com

I was referring to Internet Explorer.

This is assuming he's trying free games from Gameboomers. If you're trying to download free games from somewhere else, I wouldn't recommend it.

EDIT: I just found your other post over in Chief's thread. So you ARE trying to download from Free Games Galore. But you say two different things. You said over there that you used Firefox... but that can't be if you get a message that says "Internet Explorer" has encountered a problem and needs to close. Or do you mean the message says "Windows Explorer" has encountered a problem...?

I just tried firefox didn't work,so I went back to IE and I got the message.

I don't know what game you're trying to download.
But when I went to the Seeds of Eden link, it went to Jayisgames, and the download links (the Play button and the alternative download site) there took me to some Chinese site -- at least http://robamint.seesaa.net showed Chinese characters.

So I'd say to skip that one -- and any like it.
If I can't even read the site, I'm sure not going to download from it.
Even putting it through Google Translator didn't help.

http://robamint.seesaa.net may just be an inexpensive server and nothing wrong with it.
But it's not what I expect when I go to download a game, which makes me suspicious.
Maybe the site was hacked. Who knows?

To contrast, games like "No Time for Worms" (which I selected at random) at Free Games Galore download normally

Jenny, about the Seeds of Eden (at Jayisgames), after clicking the big yellow rectangle that will take you to the game site, just scroll down a bit in that page (indeed in Chinese) to see that the game will download and it is in English.


And I'm sure that Jayisgames that I often take games from, would not post a game from a bad site.
