Marie, you probably should uninstall the printer and reinstall it again. I've had to to that a few times. I never had what you had but I've had it stop printing on me.

I'm sure that Richard's advice will work but you may want to just try powering the printer down and unplugging it for about 30 seconds so that no power is supplied to the unit. It sounds like there is some residual memory that's trying to print from a print job that may have been stopped accidentally or intentionally. Stopping all power should clear it.
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

I'll try the power down route first Cue, and then if that doesn't work I'll go for the uninstall then reinstall that kjos suggested. Tanks, to both of your help. Marie

Is your printer one of ***these***? If turning the printer off and on doesn't help, and reinstalling the printer doesn't help, check that your model isn't one of those in that list. If it is, check the date of the firmware version. Printers in the list had a vulnerability in the firmware that left them open to being "taken over."
