Hello,
I am having considerable trouble with deciphering the code for a puzzle with the hieroglyphs where you click on a glyph then click on the letter along the top to see if it makes words. I guess you have to solve before you can have access to the "quick translate button" ?
I see how it is suppose to work. I just can't match the letters! Can anyone help?
Thank you!

Do you have the hieroglyphs dictionary from Nancy's bunk and also Jon's notes from his bunk? These will help you translate some of the letters in the hieroglyph puzzles. The way they work is like regular cryptogram puzzles; try to determine what each letter represents and once you get a few filled in that you are pretty sure are correct, sometimes you can figure out what the entire word should be. For example, if you have a three letter word and the second and third letters are h and e, then in all likelihood the first letter is a "t" or an "s," for example, with the word being "the" or "she."

Good luck! Once I got the hang of it, I thought these were fun puzzles.

I never used the quick translate button, so I am not sure when this becomes available.

And if there's a good reference book that you can't carry with you, take pictures of the pages of it with your camera so that you can have that information with you at all times. I found that to be a big help too.
