I haven't played this in ages but there are 2 ways to get to the cellar. One by the kitchen's coffe grinder that you need to crank and the other is at the library - room 37. There's a bell pull there and it goes one way down to the cellar. Hope this might help.

Tig, to get the Braille safe open you need to turn: 1 right - 5 left - 4 right - 2 left...

In room 12, there's a book on the table. It has braille alphabets and numbers. After entering the deciphered combination - rotate the large handle. wave

Tig,
SAFECRACKER is one of my favorites. I've played it about 3 times and finished well before the time limit. Just take your time and explore everything. If you can't use it or open it yet, you will! Everything is interconnected and all right there in the house. ( Just don't go outside unless you've saved your game.) smile

I tried the combo you gave me Jenny... if I try to go 5 left, the dial spins back to the number 1 position frown

Tigger -

No need to make your own map; there is one in the book on the receptionist's desk.

Ohhh I feel such an idiot!!!!

had a flash of inspiration and instead of moving one notch right before going left... I actually went right until I was Back at no1..

Solved through grit and determination smile Now I'm trying to find the clues for the jukebox.. no hints yet please.. I'm Sure I can do it by myself smile

Rainbow Painter, yes, there is Much more satisfaction when you complete something by yourself, in this instance I needed to know I was on the right track smile

That's why I love screen captures. They're designed for the graphically challenged. laugh
