For those that don't know I welcomed my first grandchild into the world on 10/7. His name is James and he is gorgeous but I am prejudiced.  I had the honor of assisting in my daughters labor and delivery and I can't begin to convey what a blessed experience it was. Unfortunately, James will be not going home tomorrow with my daughter and I am requesting some prayers and positive thoughts that all his tests come back okay. He's such a little trooper and I am sure he will be okay, but a few prayers never hurt. Me and sweet baby James. Baby James Ana

Thank you everyone, your prayers are much appreciated. He still has a very high white blood cell count as of this morning but the detailed blood tests results are due sometime today. He has been on IV antibiotics since birth but it hasn't changed anything. Please continue keeping him in your prayers. Andrea, I got my sling off the very day Sam had James. It's not going well and I haven't gotten any more sleep then I did with the sling on. I still can't move my arm for another 6-8 weeks that's why it's just sitting there.  EDIT: Midgie, Sam is very tired. She hasn't gotten much sleep but not sure that will change much with a newborn. Otherwise she is awesome! Thanks for asking.

Baby James will be in a couple more days they now anticipate. He finally got his white blood cell count normal, but he is anemic now and not eating well. They will give him a feeding tube and hopefully that will straighten everything out. Thank you all for your kind words.
