I can't find much information on this small game, although there are numerous WTs on line and YouTube stuff as well. I am stuck at the beginning of Part 3, when I am supposed to open another door in The Hub area (using a propeller device and a metal bar) but the door is not "Active." I reviewed a WT and have completed the tasks prior to this stage. The game is a bit fussy about where you click, but I've tried every angle I can think of, to no avail. El Stucko de Stuckness has arrived. LOL

Apparently there's a walkthrough in the game, as well. Someone posted this on the Sphera forum at Big Fish:

Quote:
I found a walkthrough in the game itself. It is under options. Click open options of the game then click help. Click next until you get the page where it says extras. There is a complete walkthrough here from the devs.

Did you check out this walkthrough?

Wow, I didn't realize that was in the game download. I will check it out. happydance Thing is, I did read a couple of WTs on line already, after I got stuck, and they did not identify anything I had missed. That is what has stumped me. I guess I need to read through it very carefully. Thanks for the tip!

Tried playing the game and don't know if I should get it or not. I can use a coupon and get it for free. I found a good WT but 113 pages. You really need a WT at least I do. Might get it. It is a hard game to play. I played for about a hr. and only two HO not to bad. I don't care for HO. Found the WT on Gamezebo.

Yes, I have found it unusual in its game play. Definitely not like the rest! I am warming up to the quirky style. It is not always clear what you are supposed to do or how you are supposed to do it. Non-intuitive sometimes. You have to learn how they want you to approach it. Frequently, I have no idea where to go next when I can't find something further to do, but I am playing on the hard setting so that might not be the case on the casual setting.

So far, there is nothing difficult in it, but a WT would give you some guidance as to where to go next. The "Hint" thing is not very helpful, as it sometimes only tells you what you already know or gives you the hint that you will be coming back later to do something there. ha ha ha

I was surprised to find it had an HOG component. I thought I checked carefully for that. Oh well, not that many HOG scenes, as you say, and they aren't a hassle. I got it for about $3, so can't complain. smile

Hopefully the walkthrough from the developers will be of help. It looks like an interesting game. smile

It certainly is different. A bit bleak in story line. These games often feature a lonely or troubled person being spirited away by a mysterious event and then being trapped in a netherworld where he or she has to figure out how to get back, but this one is darker than most. The world is full of decay and ruin, is Escheresque in its construction, her "host" is a giant reptile, and she is told when she arrives that she'll have to figure out for herself how to get home again. Within a scene or two she is confronted with a disarticulated skeleton and a witch who wants her for dinner! The girl is quite young and her avatar always has a look on her face as though she is about to cry. Seems reasonable to me. Any "real" child would be overwhelmed by despair if challenged so harshly on top of her already miserable life! But hey, at least there aren't any vampires . . . smile

Well, I went to the Forum for the Sphera game at Big Fish, and got some help with the door problem. Turns out there was an action that I had completed, but I did not realize I had to complete it a second time. I found several threads discussing this, and found out what to do to move on. So it was a simple case of an incomplete task.

However, I am afraid I have hit a wall now. I reached a scene where I had to find a "Sun" to add to a drawing, and I found the Sun after solving a puzzle. However, the Sun disappeared from my Inventory shortly after it appeared there. The square in which it was inserted in Inventory still has the label "Sun" at the top, but the square itself is empty. If I click on the empty square, my cursor disappears completely, and I can't play at all! Of course, I need to complete the drawing task, and since I can't, that makes further progress in the game impossible.

I went back to the Big Fish Forum and looked for some help. I found other gamers who had run into this exact same glitch. No solution was offered, and people who encountered this glitch were unable to get past it. The dates on the discussion threads went back several years. There were additional glitches that people ran into later in the game that brought their play to a halt. Apparently, the game crashes near the end and many people could not finish it.

It is disappointing. I have written to Support, asking for a refund or a coupon for another game. I'm sure they'll send me one, but this kind of shakes my confidence in the Big Fish site.

Follow-up: I received a game coupon in my email today. One thing I will say for Big Fish is that they don't leave you hanging and don't try to put one over on you.
