Joanie, I don't know much about XP (thank goodness ), but I wonder if that message is actually about hard drive space. Could it possibly be referring to memory...

Joanie, memory is used by all the programs you have running in the background. Sometimes there are enough of them that it fouls you up even though you have a lot of memory. Then you can ctl-alt-del out of everything but Explorer and Systray to get most of it back again.
You might just give that a try if the compatibility mode doesn't work...

Joanie, I have Windows XP Home edition and just finished Shadow of the Templars. It plays great if you do what MaG said and use the compatibility mode. You can also just open the Compatibility program in your Programs/Accessories menu and follow the instructions...just click "use the program in the CDRom drive" when you get to that part! Have fun!

Hi All My Boomer Buddies,Sorry I didn't get back to you all sooner as my e-mail server was down this morning. I am happy to report that I used the compatabililty mode to install the game and it works fine. When I had trouble getting on line I thought maybe somehow the compatability mode was to blame so I took it off. Well it wasn't that, but it is off now, and the game is playing perfectly. I can't thank you all enought for all your help. I just love this place and I just love you guys too. Thanks again. Joanie
