I am stuck with the time machine. I cannot finish the episode 1 because the second alter hasn't come. Has anyone had any idea what I should. I did do everything to follow a walk through, but it didn't happen! Please help.

Hi Pam -

Can you clarify a little what your problem is? The essential things in Episode 1 are: Getting inside the temple, then the sphere, and receiving three spells; Getting the Vissahid ointment so the Old Man will give you the Compass; and picking up your weapon (Wrist Jadgar.)

If you are talking about the three outdoor altars found around the perimeter of the temple, one has a bowl sitting there that you can take, one has your Wrist Jadgar on the left side, and one is just for looks.

Thank you very much prompt reply. I thought "Alter" is the wave, but I realized I misunderstand: however, I took two alters and to look for the priest offers the wave, I took a bowl, a gun, and an oitment, and I traded them with an old guy. Then, I went to the city gate and killed a guard, but I cannot ride on a tripodon! Actually, I couldn't see cut-seen that the guard zipped a boy who tries to steal the tripodon...that's why I cannot finish the episode 1....

Hi Pam -

If you have traded with the old guy and have the compass, you should be able to get on the Tripodon and leave Episode One. I believe if you wait to visit the city gates until after you got the compass, you will not see the guard zap the boy. It doesn't matter if you see him or not.

Some players have trouble getting on the Tripodon. Try standing either to the side or the rear of it. Tap the space lightly, don't hold it down. See if that helps.

Ah, the maze! It's a sound-based puzzle, although, thank goodness, it's not based on being able to identify musical tones (I'm tone deaf, & I have to get my husband to solve tone-based puzzles).

Listen carefully to the sounds emitted by the signs with pictures on them at the "Welcome" sign to the monastery & note their order, left to right. Then, when you get down to the maze, use those sounds & order to guide you through.
