I am in Mission 4, Raid on Containment, Kappa Level. I have done everything but have the robotic arm eat the big robot. I have done it a million times and even when I pull the lever, the robot is at the door but he still comes and gets me. I am either too late or too early. What is the trick to killing him?

Hi Renee, I seem to remember that I spent ages on this bit and like you, found it very frustrating. I think it is just a matter of speed and making sure the robot is in the right place to be hit by the arm. I think I experimented where to go to lure it out but still be able to run into the room in time. Hope someone can tell you precisely.

I have also messed with the timing and no matter when I get the robot to the door, I go to hit the lever and Cord decides to say, Now, that was fun. Do you remember if that was before or after the arm hit the robot. I am just wondering if I have a glitch again. And I don't know if it was you or Pokey, but whoever said it gets easier after The Land Mine was wrong wrong wrong. Ye gads...... but I do love the game.

The land Train was the hardest part for me. The only problem I had with Spectre was getting to the lever with enough time. I finally ran past him and around the corridors and was able to do it. I think I ducked into the office to hide.

Did you use the remora on the arm earlier to prime it and did you replace the fuse in the fuse box and then use the remora to direct power to the arm? Does the arm move?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm I do remember doing the fuse and I am pretty sure I primed the pods but I haven't seen the arm move. Am I suppose to see that before I get the robot in there?

Well Pokey.......I got past the robot. The arm had not moved and I know I had gone in there and gone on the computer but did it again and this time the robot died........Yes!!!!!! I do believe I have some glitches. I am now down where the pods are and it took forever to shoot the guard but when I did, I went on the right computer and read about Oliakov and went on the left and nothing......like nada.....there should be no reason so am convinced it is a glitch or bug. That arm should have moved and unless you can think of something I didn't do, I am all ears.

I don't recall this part, but isn't it an upper and lower computer--not right and left?

No, there are two computer right next to each other and there are four big circles on the floor with numbers on them. I am suppose to go in # 8. These are the pods.

See if you can remember this Pokey. After I read all four pods, Cord says to go back a menu. I have no idea what that means. Anything click with you?

You need to push button #8 so the pod will rise and you can talk to the guy inside. Are you saying you can't get the buttons to work?

I can't get into the left computer to push button 8.....That is why I am wondering if I have a glitch. What buttons are we talking about? The # 8 that will show up after you access the Remora? If that is the case, then I can't get into the left computer. I have no idea why.

I don't remember much about the computer, but I do remember that guy and the game we played. I believe the #8 button is on the computer. Maybe you are having the same problem I had earlier in the game when the remora wouldn't access the computer correctly and I couldn't get the whole menu. I had to go back to an earlier save and do things differently. Sorry I can't be more help. Maybe someone else has played the game recently.
