There's a new gameplay video up on the
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People page. It shows you Strongie at his most combative, up against (conversationally) a wall, a hedge and a stick.
Homestar Ruiner, the first episode in Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, is scheduled for a July release on WiiWare and PC. The game contains material inappropriate for English and French children (everyone else will have to learn English or French in order to read the warning label).
More details about the release schedule and gameplay elements can be found
here. And if you need any proof that Telltale works very closely with our license holders, you’ll find it in Strong Bad’s dev blog, which is updated about once a week by Matt and Mike Chapman, the geniuses behind Strong Bad and the Homestar Runner franchise. Just yesterday, Strong Bad leaked a tech demo of the upcoming game, which just goes to show that men in masks can’t be trusted. Well-brought-up, English-speaking children should not read this blog.
Last little bit of news, on a slightly different topic… the long-awaited Sam & Max Surfin’ the Highway hardcover is hot off the presses, and preorders are starting to ship. Although the paperbacks can also be found in comic stores and other outlets as well as in Telltale’s online store, this limited edition hardcover beauty is only available from Telltale. The quantity is limited to 2,500 and each book has been signed and numbered by Steve Purcell.
