Can anyone tell me when the new game by Benoit Sokal called Broadway is being released. He was working on it in 2008/9. cheers, Alfoil

I doubt you'll ever see it since his company, White Birds, went under.

I can't say I'm all that sorry. I'd never heard of Broadway and had to look it up with Google. If, as Sokal says, it was another case for Jack Norn...well, Sinking Island was a real stinker to my way of thinking and I'm not interested in seeing Norn back again.

I guess its each to his own. I loved Syberia and Sinking Island and was hoping that he would come up with more games. Its a shame that the co. folded as his work is brilliant. I think all the lovers of Syberia1 & 2 would attest to that. Alfoil

I also enjoyed Sinking Island, though I'd never heard of Broadway. Being a musical theater singer, and a huge Broadway fan, this one sounds right up my alley. A shame we may not see it now. frown

If you enjoy the Benoit Sokal style I would highly recommend Amerzone if you haven't played it yet. I enjoyed playing all of his games although I never played Sinking Island. I'm still waiting for news of a possible release of Syberia 3 but it looks like it may not be in the cards for now. Paradise is another Sokal production.

Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Cue, I loved Paradise. I still think the Syberias are his best work, but you can't go wrong with a game that gives you a big leopard companion. grin
