Sorry you did not like the end. I am glad you liked the rest of it though.

I was wondering. How many Gameboomers have played this game and what is thought of it? I saw some good reviews of it and one reviewer even compared it to the Sierra quest games, which to me is high praise.

Anyway I'd be interested to know what you all think of the game.

I dont see many comments about this game here...I do see Mag has a walkthrough for it tho..lol

This game is awesome...It is long and a great story...The puzzles are really good too... When I say the ending is terrible, I mean it ends abruptly and a story that was going along so wwell and at a great pace is terminated unexpectedly with and ending from out of nowhere....but other than that I would say this game could be the best one this year so far

I agree hamer. I loved the game, but the ending leaves ya hanging. There is hope for a sequel.

Is this only available as a download - and only via "Steam" think

The Adventure Shop has it for $30, Mad. Hard times, too much for me. It's a download. Have you checked Amazon?

Yes - but I can only see it at two sites in the UK and I've never heard of either .... Game Accounts UK and mmoga.co.uk .... and both are offering it via Steam.

They are quoting £26.40 for it but I feel that's too expensive for a download yes

Does anyone know if GOG will be getting this one? I know they have other Daedalic games, but it looks like they only have The Whispered World and Deponia so far.

Hi venus -- no info about this game on GOG that I know of.

I'm near the beginning, and wondering about the townspeople and their suspicions of Geron. If they really believed the curse, why didn't they...see to it that he left town? If they don't believe the curse, why do they constantly remind him of it? lol

If I were Geron I think I'd take my trapping and magical skill(s) and get out of town.

I've gotten past the gypsy wagon part -- there is definitely something creepy going on! And I think Nuri is a breath of fresh air.

BTW -- does anyone else think that Nuri and Geron

look a lot alike?

Just speculating as I usually do early in a game.

My impressions of Isida were completely wrong, of course.

Thanks for the info, Becky. I suppose I'll pick it up at Gamersgate then.

The story sounds very interesting. grin
