I cannot get this game to work on windows 7 It just crashes with a cpal3d error. I see some people having the same problem with Memento Mori. How can i fix this please
I have a nvidia GeForce GT 240

windows 7 pro 32 bit

Have you tried playing it in compatibility mode? Right click the launch icon, select troubleshoot compatibility and follow the prompts.

Is this the disc version or the download version?

If you have the disc version of Gooka, it uses an old version of StarForce (StarForce 3) that is incompatible with Vista or Windows 7. The only way to get it running will be to find a NoCD for it. A Google search for
Gooka NoCD
should find it.

If you have a download version, it's probably been updated to work with Vista. Cpal3D is the name of the game engine used by Gooka and Memento Mori.
