Thanks, Ana. I've been reading good things about this game from those who have already purchased the game directly from Alawar. I'm looking forward to hearing what others here think about it. wave

Looks like a good one. I have a question though. Some on BFG forum say they previously purchased the game from the developer. It seems some of these folks are also planning to purchase from BFG. What am I missing?

Hi, Ana!

I'[m currently playing (and loving) "Mystery Trackers: Black Isle", but I downloaded the demo of "Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers" and will give it a try when I'm finished. The reviews on BFG have been excellent!

So many good ones Susan! I really wish I'd be better at making lists to remember which ones to check out when I have time.

Hi, Ana!

I have the same problem. I play the demos and forget to write down the names of the ones I really enjoyed, so I have to watch the videos on BFG's website to try and refresh my memory. Maybe I should just start deleting the ones I didn't enjoy, and that would solve my problem lol !

Funny, Susan! grin I'm one of those who ruthlessly uses the "delete" button when I'm feeling, shall we say, "underwhelmed" by a game demo. wink wave

This is a great game! Played 20 minutes of the demo and bought it. I'm currently playing Mystery Trackers also and will play this soon as I'm finished. woot

I just tried out the demo and it looks very good. The developer is Friday's Games, who also brought us Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story, among others. I've put this new one on my want list. wave

I definitely have to keep a list - with asterisks to mark the really good ones. I gave up relying on all the icons on my desktop. crazy

Hi, Marian!

I usually delete games I know I'm not gonna buy as soon as the time for the demo expires or, in some instances, I don't even finish the demo. If it's a game I really enjoy or have been looking forward to, I'll buy it immediately, unless it's near the end of the month and I've already filled up enough punch cards. If I'm on the fence, I don't delete the games, but then when the next month rolls around, I have to watch the videos to refresh my memory because I can't remember which games I loved and which games I'm on the fence grin !

Hi, Sparkle!

I created a "Big Fish Games" folder on my desktop and move all the games I've purchased into that folder. That way, the game icons don't clutter up my desktop.

I agree so far this is a good game. I also delete the games demo's I wasn't impressed with, but I still forget which one I tried, so I also look at the video to remember too. I have been waiting for this this game since I first saw it posted about in this forum.

"I also look at the video to remember too."

Hey, I do that with the games I've bought. If I didn't love it (or hate it) I have no clue what it's about and have to look at the video to decide whether or not to download it again for a replay.

I really do wish BFG would make it possible to remove the real stinkers from Purchased Games, so I can forget I actually paid for those things.

Gil.

I've actually wished for something similar myself, from time to time. grin

I don't usually care that much about the story. But I must say, the story in this game is quite engaging. A good ending too - although a bit bittersweet.

I agree Sparkle, it was bittersweet, but I really enjoyed the game. It was long as well. I had to force myself to stop playing one night and found it was 2:00am! I wish they would figure a way to have our computer clock show us the time while still on a full screen! LOL!
