For those that have purchased the Boxed Retail version or the Ubisoft download, you can now get the 5th case free. This is not for the 4 case version that will be released on BigFish this week.

Would anybody have a save after the fourth case. I finished all four but my computer crashed and I lost all saves and I don't want to play the game from the beginning. I downloaded the fifth case but I can't play it I have to start from the beginning. Thanks

I do not believe you can do saves on a CSI game. At least in the past I know it was difficult. I'll see what I have when I get home from work, but I am not sure it'll work.

Thanks ana I hope you can. I found a save for the first case on the internet, but no more. This is what it looks like csiconfig.
Even a save at the beginning of case 5.

kjos, it appears I not only deleted the game but I deleted the saves as well. I'm sorry, I've been running searches on both of my computers and turning up empty.

That is great in case anyone else needs it, I'll be happy to pass it along. I just reinstalled the game and it updated itself immediately.

I just downloaded the bonusgame, but it's certainly not very userfriendly!
Registration is required and on top of that I have to replay all of the 4 cases before the 5th one is unlocked. I uninstalled the game (including the savegames) after finishing it some months ago - apparently that was not the best thing to do.
Don't know if I'll bother, as imo the first 4 cases weren't very interesting compared to the earlier CSI titles.

I hate compulsary registration, but can live with that.
For the life of me, I don't understand why they didn't 'unlock' the bonusgame

I've downloaded and installed the patch for Case 5, but they won't let me register - won't recognize my email, my password, or my birthdate

so I keep going around in circles ... was hoping to find a phone number or something ... but maybe I'll just give up

Thanks for the info again ana!! You always come up with the answers. I just downloaded it and will give it a shot this weekend. At least I got the case I thought I would get cheated out of. Thanks to you I feel vindicated! I hope it is improved over the first 4 cases but not counting on it Maybe they will go back to original format if they do another one. I hope so.

I'd love to see the games go back to TellTale and make them like they used to be. I'm afraid I'm done with the series now if this is it.
