Just follow the instruction mailed to you by the shop.

This is from a previous post:
Make a folder in your desktop.
There are several links in that mail.
Download all those links inside that folder you made first. Do not open or double click them.
Open or double click the first link after all the links have been downloaded.
It should automatically open the rest.

I started over today with a printed out copy of the email I recd this AM with instructions on downloading. I made a 'new' file on my desktop and named it Yoomurjak's Ring; File 1 loaded fast, less than 3 minutes; File 2 is still downloading and I started about 2 PM my time this afternoon so their estimate of 7+ hours is close to 'real time' since I have about another hour and 40 minutes to go = fingers crossed I do not have any more trouble (earlier today got message "Windows Internet Explorer cannot download ......the operation timed out") so I ignored that and started over. More later on my success or failure with this download. My opinion - download games are a pain in the you know what.....Thanks for all the help - I'll be back to call on you again if I run into more trouble - have not heard a word back from TAS except for the confirmation email.

EDIT = Oh, and I am on XP computer using AT&T dsl service.
Success! File 2 has been downloaded. Started download of file 3, timed as 7+ hours also, now about 1 hour into it, expect to leave computer on and download running when I go to bed. Will update tomorrow on progress.

MaG, thanks for your help. I didn't receive the instructions from TAS until 11.30 last night, so too late in the day...in the meantime I'd spent 3 hours downloading a binary file via Mozilla Firefox,which can't be converted.

Do you think I should re-download following the AS instructions, or is there any way that the BIN. file can be converted? I'm a bit loathe to spend another 3 hours online and wish TAS had been a bit more efficient!

Betty Lou, glad to hear your trials. That is the game I was going to download....now, I'm not so sure. I think my 7 days is going to elapse before I get the deed done here. Anxious to hear your final results.

If I recall correcctly - the first is an .exe file and the rest should be bin files. The .exe should open the bin files when all are downloaded.


Please - follow the instructions sent to you and you will not have problems. The length of time you download depends on your server.
Also contact TAS if you have problems.

JoanieS - well the 3rd file (2nd .bin) finished its 7 hour download during the night and I checked it this AM almost as soon as my feet hit the floor! So then I started the download of the last file (3rd .bin) and it is still running, timed in at about 6 - 7 hours also. Will come back here when all is done and I have installed and launched the game. Fingers crossed here that everything works as it should and I am done with my 'downloading woes' at least for this game. Still having a problem with GOG and my Tex Murphy games I bought. Hope to have my tech-guy Adam help me with it (if he isn't away on vacation at this time). If downloading is the way of our future gaming world, I do not know how I will be able to stay 'with it' since some of them download and work just fine and others are a total disaster and who can know beforehand just which it is to be? Oh, well, life does go on I guess. Will be back later today to update this. SUGGESTION - if you think your download will run looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg try to set it up when you go to bed and it should be done by morning - it may take 3 or 4 days to get it all this way but at least you will get your 'prize' and not lose it.

Are they down again??? I am getting down for maintenance when I try to log in

ok- got in- put in code and it shows $00.00 but it wont highlight the download button- I am trying to contact them, but has anyone had this problem
When I click on accept terms it comes back payment refused

They do have occasional problems with the provider for the payment.
Either mail the support or go to the Adventure Shop forum at adventuregamer.com and post there.

I emailed support about half and hour ago- still waiting for assistance.

Hey Hey Hey - my download finished and it worked! Have installed, launched and started playing the game. Yippee Now just have to learn how to copy those files to a DVD (burn, baby, burn). And I love this game! Love the ease of movement, love the menu, inventory, map etc system, and I have only just left the hotel and found the tourist shop! Played the demo months ago and this game is probably the one I most wanted out of all those games recently released or still in the works. Thanks Chief and Mag for your patient assistance to me. You're the best.

Winfrey, sorry to hear about your injury and hope you are better now. To get to TAS just click on the 'tab' at the top of this page and then choose "My Account" - you have to open an account with them in order to 'purchase' the game (unless you already have one then you just log-in), then use the Promo code so payment is ZERO - you should then receive an email from them confirming and the links to the 4 files you need to download. Hi, all mistype on my part- I am in the Adventure Shop- Put code in shows $00.00 but won't let me contine, , when I click on terms and conditions I get payment refused-- will not let me finish the shopping process

Wow! What a nice surprise. I was away for several days and didn't check my e-mails every day. So I'm off to download a game. Thank you Gameboomers and The Adventure Company. I just went to The Adventure Shop and it is telling me the code I am using is not correct. Any idea why that is happening? Thanks....
Is it possible the time to dowload has expired? It appears I have until Monday but perhaps I am wrong on that date. I have tried the using the code in upper and lower case letters but it doesn't help. Thank you for any suggesitons.

Finally figured it out...thanks to help from Gamboomers and The Adventure Shop....downloaded my game today! Once again thank you for all the help!

Belated Congrats to all you winners!!

Checking in with my problem. In the middle of the night I realized I always have "enable cookies" turned off and had forgotten all about that. So, next day I enabled cookies and stopped getting the "down for maintenance " message. Dumb me. Excellent help from both TAS and GameBoomers, as usual. Thanks so much to you all!!!!
