THIS was where I got the demo from. I like the narrators voice and I don t think most people will need a walk through .

I think you're right dragon - to me it did have that Carol Reed feel.

I bought the game years ago. you had to order it from the website in those days. I bought Sydney Mystery from the website last week. Am just a little worried because I haven't heard from Twilight Software about the order yet (I did get my Paypal receipt). I hope the game is still in production. I figured it would still be available because the site still worked to take orders. Hopefully it'll be here this week.

Yes, there's always hope... it's a good thing to hang on to... and ultimately, I think it's gonna turn out fine. Thank you for giving me a good laugh at your prescience.. (?)... No, Brown eyed Tiger I am not going to offer to sell it as this is the discussions forum not the trading one. Say... did BET ever get ahold of that extra copy? (I'm just joking, of course)

This is what the maker said at the time:
"I made The Sydney Mystery because I love adventure games, and I now know that it's very rewarding and fun to create something from nothing. I leave the game experience in the hands of those who play it, and give no direction except, perhaps: to not expect too much; it's a low budget production after all! I do suspect, though, that after playing the game, you will have another world in your mind, which you can return to again and again in the years that follow. I love my city of Sydney, and if I can share just a tiny piece of it with you, then the game is more than a success".
Set your sites at the right level and its a 5 hour bit of fun.
Quantity has a quality all of its own

Flotsam I liked the game it was just the wait but as you say money always comes into it and I do think it is worth the wait .As you say not a big game but good to play .If they had told me in the first place I would have had to wait I would nt have minded but I just thought they were nt going to post it .

Thanks, Flotsam for the developer's words. And I'm with you, Dragonuk44... I don't mind the waiting, either ... it's just the 'not knowing'. However, because of what's been said here, I have no worries at all that my order was received and will be processed in due time, and I'm very much looking forward to getting a nice Australian 'vacation treat' delivery in the Fall. And who knows... it could come earlier.
