Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread. -1. Canadian scientists reported a few years ago that certain butterflies have ears. Why do they believe these butterflies need them? -2. Which actress portrayed Catwoman in the 1966 movie Batman? -3. The American "Era of Good Feelings" occurred mainly during whose presidency? -4. According to geologists, at the current rate of land loss, in how many years would New Orleans, Louisiana sink under water? -5. Which marshmallow Peeps color is the most popular? -6. In freeze tag, how does a person become unfrozen? -7. In the 1970's Mattel introduced "Growing Up Skipper." When you twisted the arm of Barbie's little sister, what happened? -8. Of what material were George Washington's false teeth made? -9. Which Egyptian deity's symbolic tomb was identified in 2015 on Luxor's west bank? -10. Into how many groups did Melvil Dewey divide all knowledge for his library classification system?
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

niteowl, that's a good guess, but not the answer. As a matter of fact, the facts have changed. I wrote this question in 2004 but it looks like they were wrong at the time. I've changed the question. Bob, that's correct. flotsam, that's probably also correct. soot
