All my Big Fish games are activated on the C Drive of my Win7 machine but the setup files for each are stored on an external drive. So when I want to start to play a BF game, I just transfer the "application" icon from the setup files on the external drive across to my desktop - to create a short cut - and then launch the game from that shortcut.

Once the game is played, I go to "C Drive, Users, My Name, AppData, Roaming" find the game files (usually under the developer name) and delete them.
The setup files remain on my external drive but the profile I created to play the game is deleted - so next time I play that game it is a "New" game.

However, with the older Cateia games I've just finished, neither "Cateia" or the game title, appears in "Roaming".
So I can't delete the profiles.

I've tried uninstalling the whole game and re-downloading it but that doesn't wipe out the profile either. If I go to play it it again, my previous progress is all still there with no option to change the profile and start the game anew.

So, could anyone please offer advise as to where the profiles might be stored for the earlier Cateia games so I can delete them ??

Thanks.

Mad woozy

Are the profiles in a more normal place such as Games/Cateia?

I'm not sure why you can't just delete the profile you don't want, but I think there are some early games that don't offer the ability to create a profile.

If you can tell me what these games are, maybe I have some of them and can check where they'd go on my computer.

The "Roaming" folder is certainly not the only place casual games can install.
You can certainly look in AppData\Local and AppData\LocalLow

And there may be other folders where they hide. There is a "Saved Games" folder in your User folder, though I've never seen a casual game go in there.

EDIT --

I checked an XP computer I have handy and there are Cateia games like The Strix, Where Angels Cry, Legion, and The Lair in this folder:
Documents and Settings \ All Users \ Application Data \ Cateia Games

That's on XP, but notice they're not in the individual Users folder and they're not in AppData -- they're in Application Data. Maybe you can find a similar location on your Windows 7.

Brilliant, Jenny100 !! Thanks to your suggestions I have now found them !! hamster

I had already looked in AppData\Local, AppData\LocalLow and Documents and Settings - and any other folders I thought might contain saved games.

And there isn't a folder called Application Data in my Win7.

However, there IS one called Program Data and that's where they were hiding slapforehead

So they are now all deleted and I have made a note of the location for future use.

Thank you again praise

Well I'm glad my suggestion helped,
even if it wasn't quite the answer.
