Having kept reading all the threads and solved the piano puzzle can you please tell me whether or not there is also a conventional EVP on the piano which can be captured on the dictaphone and interpreted on the tablet. My reason for asking is that i thought not and am quite a bit further on in the game but Matron did not appear in the office. It seems that i have left something undone.
I went back to do the Saxon shore puzzle as i thought that might be it but cannot get back into the boys' dormitory.
Can someone help on these two issues please.

There is an EVP you can capture on the piano. Have you gone back to the Attic? Seems like there was always something to do there..

Thank you Winfrey. I will go back to the attic again. Can you tell me if solving the saxon Shore puzzle is vital to progress in the game as i cannot get into the boys' dormitory. The door is now locked.

You get a different ending but it does not stop you from completing the game.

It's just a slight difference, you get to do something else... I would post it but don't know if you want to know yet... no biggie... the ending actually is the same.

Well thanks to Winfrey, I got to do lots of things I had missed doing, manged to remember how to get into the classroom, did the saxon shore puzzle and Finally got to speak to Matron!. hope I've caught up with everything now.
