Hi Guys

I have found a way to save your games after auto save (Mods please move to correct Forum if necessary) I created a Desk Top Folder name Man of Medan then located the actual save folder for the game, (mine was located in C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\ManOfMedan\Saved\SaveGames\) when I got to a certain point in the game i.e. after auto save I would then copy this save and place it in the Desk Top folder and rename it (ie change the 01 to 02 etc) then when you start your game again if you miss something or fail to acheive something, rather than start a new game you can exit, load the renamed game and go again, hope this helps

Cheers SAFC

I have moved your post over to Glitches since it's offering technical help with saved games. Thanks very much for the information. It's always nice to have an alternative to autosaves. santa

Hi Marian

Many thanks for that, I was unsure as to where to post it, hope it helps a few guys out, I was getting very frustrated having to start a new game to try and complete some of the tasks or to get passed certain points without getting caught out

many thanks
SAFC

Hi Guys

I forgot to add, you will have to close the game down and then copy the saved game from you created folder and paste into the actual Game Save Folder. You can then restart the game and select Load Game and you will see the current save and the save you had previously copied if that make sense

Happy Xmas to All and Happy Gaming

Cheers SAFC yay12

Hi Guys

I found a little Glich in my instructions, you will have to remove the current game save from the folder and then copy and insert your copied save as if you have both there it does not work

Sorry if I have confused anybody, but I have just tried it as I havent played the game for a couple of days, again if you make a mistake in the game after inserting the copy save, just repeat above, and dont forget when you stop playing your current game and either quit or leave the game after an autosave, this will then become Save 0001 so before you restart the game you will have to delete your previously entered save game i.e. save 0005, copy and rename Save 0001 into you desktop folder and then load the game, I know is a bit of a long winded way of doing it but if you want to complete the game with all the awards its worth it

PS it only seems to work with only 1 save game in the Games save folder

Cheers SAFC bravo

I never thought of that! Thanks, I don't like autosaves for that very reason.

Safe, just wanted to let you know. I am already using your method. I am playing an older game and it doesn’t like my windows 10 it froze on me twice. So I started to save my saves in a separate folder with folders inside 1-2-3. Then worked on my compatibility issues with the game. Thanks :-)
