She was quite a gal - the ultimate example of fulfilling one's duty and purpose at all times and under all circumstances - RIP!

A wonderful person - Wife, Mother, Grandmother etc etc AND Queen. She fulfilled all those rolls to the max and will be hugely missed

She fulfilled her role with grace and dedication through changing times.
Elizabeth II was Queen before I was even born. It's strange to think that she's no longer with us and that Charles will (finally) be King. It's the end of an era.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

She was an impressive woman and I just learned she was in the military as a mechanic! May she Rest In Peace.
Would that I could be the peacemaker in your soul that I might turn the discord and the rivalry of your elements into oneness and melody Gibran

The saddest day of my life. The end of our second Elizabethan era. It is heart breaking to lose an icon. I am grateful for Her Majesty's long lifetime of service. Long live the King.

It is hard to believe for me too that she is gone. She was the only woman in my lifetime that was capable of leading a nation, being a mother, and holding her own in a time when it was a "mans" world...she was indeed a beloved Queen! May she rest in peace...
