I started a new game and mine played perfectly. My desktop has hardware that is far less than what you have on that laptop, so I don't think that's the problem. Is there a way to slow down your mouse? I have mine slowed down quite a bit and have no problems at all. I'll open up the software and see what it's set at.

EDIT: I have it set to 3200 DPI.

There's a thread here about fixing mouse stutter in the game. Maybe worth a look?

Thank you, Marian! I was wondering if she was using her fancy new mouse with all the doo-dads on it! Hopefully that will help hagatha and we can start a new thread!

I'll give that a shot. Also, there's a thread about this elsewhere and I'll have a look. One of the new super-duper settings seems to be causing problems for some PC users.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

So when it says:

1. Step: Video -> Graphics: Hardware Cursor OFF
2. Step: Controller Settings: lower the SENSIVITY to 0.10 ingame and the SAME VALUE for the MENU !
3. Step: Video -> Graphics: Hardware Cursor ON

Are we talking about changing these setting in the game menu?

EDIT: okay, so I've made those changes. It's much better, but still seems a little laggy. I have it on Ultra and it looks fantastic, but it still needs a tweak. I'll poke around and see what else I can find.

Oh no. I changed the resolution and now it's all messed up again, even worse than before, the picture proportion is all messed up and I can't make it go back. I think I might have to uninstall and re-install.

In the game, but you've figured that out! At this point, I'd say uninstalling and reinstalling would be your best bet. I would also check some of your mouse settings in your mouse software.

Marian, should we break these posts off and send them to Glitches?

Apparently CD Projekt are aware of the performance issues with the updated game and are working on it so we'll be seeing another update soon.

in the meantime, just those basic adjustments made the game at least playable, if not perfectly, so I've started playing.

Drac, for now I guess we can just leave things the way that they are, but in the future let's start these discussions in Glitches. wave12

I am happy to hear that the game is at least playable now, hagatha. And things will probably improve as time goes on. thumbsup12

As a footnote to this thread, the Mass Effect Trilogy was amazing fun and I'll be playing it again at some point. I might finish Andromeda too, at some point, so I've left it on my computer.
