And a happy good morning to all! Sitting down to enjoy my double dark brew from Gerry before I head outside. Yet another thunderstorm last night - every single night since Monday. I think we are well over 7". West of here, they had 7" in just one night and there is a lot of wind damage from the 70 mph winds that came through. Of course, the mud is epic. I can't even get INTO my garden to pick tomatoes! Tornado sirens went off in town last night and they shut down the fairgrounds at the huge Town and Country Fair in the neighboring town. Nelly was the concert last night, so there were thousands and thousands of people there. Some said it took 2 hours just to GET to their cars!

And NO ADVENTURES at the rescue Ranch last night! Easy peasey, in and out in 45 minutes!

Hi soot. I've been installing updates this morning on my IMac computer. I upgraded the MacOS to Ventura last week and am trying to get adjust to the changes in the way things look and work. It is much easier then Microsoft Windows. Draclvr glad all was quiet at the rescue last night. You sure have had enough rain! Hope your weather improves and you see more sun soon.

Cool beans Gerry ... yes indeed, change is fairly constant now and updating PC tech is goodness ... hope the adjustment is easy and smooth ... the coffee is marvelous--keep it coming. Good news about 'no adventures' last night at the rescue ranch Draclvr and sure do hope your garden solidifies enough for you to get your ripe tomatos!

Yippee! More rain! NOT! Saw a great meme on Facebook this morning - a guy was standing in grass about 15' tall saying, "Stopped raining. Guess I'll mow." Hubby was headed out to mow here and the rain started! To think we were in an official "severe" drought just a month ago...

Yesterday, I finally gave up and took down the hanging baskets between the hummingbird feeders and just put up more feeders to make 7 one-quart feeders. They cleaned it up in less than 12 hours, so had to mix up more last night.

Other than catching up on a little laundry and mopping floors, I'm taking the day off! Happy Sunday, everyone!

Greetings, all.

Finally we have rain, too.

I was getting worried about the lawn here -- the local watering restrictions are at 4 out of 5 and things were getting pretty dry, but it should be fine, now. Of course, that means I'd better get myself a lawn mower! It's a small yard so won't be too onerous, but the trick is getting a lawn mower into my Accord. It's a fairly large car but I'm thinking that I'll only be able to get a 13" wide mower in the back seat.

So far loving the new 'hood. Everyone seems to be pretty friendly; it's obviously a walking neighbourhood, which is great way to meet people.

Of course the cats are desperate to go outside. Much whining.

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day! So good to hear all is well hagatha! Are you getting everything organized and things put where you want? Are Willow and Dude behaving...no fighting with each other?
