The Will of Arthur Flabbington is now available on Steam, GoG and itch.io.
A comedy point-and-click adventure game about a dead uncle, a hidden treasure, a reluctant ghost sidekick, old people and pizza.

Check out the official website here.

Check out the trailer here.

Quote
Bad news: your uncle died, and left you nothing in his will.
Good news: the will mentions a mysterious treasure.
Bad news: only two people can recover the treasure, and you're not one of them.
Good news: these two people don't want to recover it.
Bad news: they hate each other and won't collaborate.
It seems like you have to move on and forget about the inheritance. Unless you're Jack Flabbington, and resort to a psychic to contact your uncle's spirit. It will be easy, right? It's not like you'll end up bound to a random ghost until you find the treasure yourself, right?

The Will of Arthur Flabbington is a comedy point-and-click adventure game where you're desperately trying to find your uncle's lost treasure with the help of a reluctant sidekick. Will you be able to set aside your differences and collaborate towards your common goal?

Main features:
Click stuff to interact!
Jokes!
Puzzles that are hard but logical, to make you feel smart when you solve them!
A modern look-first-then-interact interface so you won't miss any juicy hints!
Possess other NPCs*!
Toilet humor!
A state-of-the-art 320x180 resolution, for the hardcore pixel lovers!
More pizzas than you'll ever dream of!
*certain restrictions may apply.

Happy Gaming!

Just dowloaded. Not sure what to do since I finished the latest Carol Reed beta. Hopefully "The Will" can at least partially measure up, or amuse me, or make me think.

I am enjoying the game! There is no walkthrough (yet) and the puzzles are not easy, but they also make perfect sense once you figure them out. Act I almost seems to be a tutorial of sorts...it teaches you how the game devs think and of course gets you to Act II, which has many more locations and therefore is harder. It is pure point and click with useable inventory. It's right up my alley!

I love this already because the website and trailer show a gift for comedy and scripting. I cannot wait to play which will be today or tomorrow.

I am updating my comments. This is a fun, lighthearted, well put together game. However, it has become impossible for me to progress. Usually there are indications of some kind as to what to do. Here you simply know the problem. Can't get a card reader because it's stuck under a tire. Can't get a guy to stop eating pizza. Need to have long hair to have a favor granted. And seemingly each of these things (and many more) require multiple steps to solve. You don't have a clue you're actually close to solving, so you just run around trying anything everywhere. Surely there are folks who find this fun, but I apparently am not one. A hint system would be welcome.

That doesn't sound good but maybe you just need to take a break from it for a couple of days and then try again. That often works for me when I get tired of visiting the same places and trying the same things over and over again.

Good point, oldbroad. I may revisit but I wanted to let others know it's a very difficult game!

The developer is in the Steam forum for the game where he is giving out hints to anyone who needs them, and he is getting a lot of questions.

The walkthrough helped me in ways that were not "what do I do next?" I couldn't figure out some mechanics. I never found the park before the walkthrough. It is misplaced on the map and even though I thought it was somewhere, it was not apparent how to get there. Even after several serious nudges, it took a while for me to look for a crosswalk.
Likewise, I learned from the ghost in the park that ghosts could interact with wildlife, but I had no idea how to employ Artie for fishing. Once I got used to the Artie switch the game settled down and the walkthrough was not really needed.
All this said, this is somewhat of an ingenious game. Recommend.
