If you did it right, you will see the screen dim for a split second.

Thank you Tally Ho. I knew it was something very simple. I think I'll put a little note on the table in front of me. Still too late for that puzzle though frown

I finished Mystery Trackers: Paxton Creek Avenger CE this week. It sure took me a long time to get around to this one, but finally I did.

I am still playing The Little Shop series,. There are 5 of them and they are long games. I haven't had time to just sit and play for a long time. But games like these are relaxing and don't require a lot of brain power. think

What is The Little Shop series? I don't see that on Big Fish when I search. EDIT: I see them on Gamehouse.

I am hoping to finish up the bonus chapter of Mystery Trackers: Raincliff tonight. It has been a long game for me. I like it but I have been getting stuck every time I play. I used the guide a couple of times and I ended up skipping two puzzles also because even the guide couldn't help me.

I finished My Downtown last week but am still building up my city a little. It is not as fun as building a garden. My next Match 3 will be the first Cursed House game. Not sure just yet what my next casual will be but maybe I'll play the last Fairy Godmother Stories. For some reason those games make me think Easter so...

Ob, I have played the first Cursed House game. The first three or so Cursed House games are not like the remaining ones in that the play mechanics are more like traditional match 3 games. I enjoyed it and have played it a couple of times.

Glad you are liking Raincliff. Like you, though, I also got stuck quite a bit.

I started Myth or Reality: Mystery of the Lake CE today. This game is making me feel a bit stupid as I have been using the hint button more frequently than I would wish. I will see how the rest of the game goes - it's pretty early on in the game still.

I keep telling myself to just use the hints, guides, walkthroughs, skips, or whatever helps me get through the game and not worry about it - at least then I am playing, but it irks me and I don't listen to myself much. I have been "playing" Myst for close to two months now but am being stubborn, therefore i am not really playing it at all. It is sitting and I am not playing any of the million adventure games I have. That is what is stupid! rolleyes

I finished Raincliff last night (didn't play the night before). I didn't get the part about the frog collectibles, something like a mask if you collect over 50 of them. I don't know. I picked up 59 of the 60 but I didn't see anything about a mask. In the extras there was a "bonus video". Unfortunately, I don't know what that was either. When I clicked on it, my computer froze up. After clicking around trying to unfreeze it, I started hearing talking and thought maybe the video was going but without the visual. After a bit I realized I had somehow opened up a Sam & Max game that I have on that computer. I had to do a hard shut down and got that "you're computer didn't shut down properly" screen. Ugh! Glad it was not my Win 10 computer anyway.

Yes, I hate getting that message too. Fortunately it has never seemed to have done any of my computers any real harm.

Congrats on finishing Raincliff. smile

I just started the bonus game of Myth or Reality: Mystery of the Lake CE.

Finished Mystery of the Lake CE a few days ago and just now finished Bonfire Stories: The Faceless Gravedigger CE. This was the second or third time I have played this game. I really miss Mariaglorum; they were one of my favorite developers.

I have the 3 Bonfire Stories downloaded and waiting to play someday. I'm playing the bonus chapter of Fairy Godmother Stories: Miraculous Dream in Taleville. I don't know why I have such a hard time following the stories in these games. I lost this one pretty early on -somehow - but I have been enjoying the puzzles though!

Ob, you are reminding me that I still haven't played the third Bonfire Stories game, the one that was a HOP more than a HOPA. I should give it a try soon. Those last two games of Mariaglorum's were released right before they stopped making HOPAs and I think those were probably games made during their transition to mobile.

Glad you are still enjoying the Little Shop series, Marlene. smile

OMG! I was just playing Room 8 of Cursed House 1 and, no joke, literally started seeing black in front of my eyes and getting dizzy. I had been trying to finish the level to go do something else but had to take a break first. When I went back to it, I was able to get it. This room had 10 levels; the others have only 8 or 9. It involved demon spiders and their webs. If one of them reached the top, you lost the level. Multiple tries on most of the levels but I conquered them! chocobunny

Yes, I remember needing more than one try on some of those levels too. Glad you got through it! bunny

Good luck with it, ob!

I am now playing Maze: Stolen Minds CE. Although I really like Mad Head, I am not thrilled with this game because so far most of the environments have been dark and grungy, which makes it harder for me to see things and overall is quite depressing. The actual game is pretty good, though.

Don't let it get you down, Marian! I haven't played any of the Maze games yet.

Thanks, ob! I finished the game today but only because I used the hint button a lot in an attempt to speed things up to get away from the dark and dreary. The bonus game was a tad better in this regard but not by much. Maybe I will play this game again someday when the dark and dreary seems less bothersome. There were other Maze games I liked much better than this one.

I do not know if I will play it straight through, but I haven't played a solitaire game for a while so I loaded up Solitaire Detective: Framed. It is passing the time pleasantly enough.

I finished Solitaire Detective: Framed. 120 levels, but otherwise an easy one. I enjoyed it.
