"I'm tired," said Accordion. "Inflation takes a lot out of me, but you're good to go now."
"I noticed your polka is more like a slow waltz nowadays," said Tread, "and you seem to be a bit wheezy."
"Yeh. My job as bellows for the blacksmith was more hazardous than I thought it would be, and he couldn't hear my songs over all that clanging and banging anyway."
"Have you tried looking for something less taxing?"
"I thought I might like dusting computer keyboards, but I was told I'd take up too much room on most desktops. I also was interviewed as a personal fan, but the interviewer said I smelled too musty and wouldn't hire me."
"That's a shame! So what are you going to do?"
"It'll be a bit of a squeeze financially, but I think I'm going to retire and just hang out in the basement with Tin Flute, Ocarina, and Baby Xylo. We have fun making noise together, and even Type Writer joins in when his keys aren't stuck."
"That sounds like a good plan, Ac! Stay sharp, and have fun."
"Thanks, Tread! May your road ahead be totally tackless from now on."
