YAY! Got something from Paradox today with a firm release date for the RPG Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. It will be October 21st just in time for Halloween! Best news is that you don't have to buy a new computer to play it.

I just came from there, Marian! This is probably only one of two game series I will pay full price for - I usually wait until they have a sale. The other series is Metro... love those games. I got another email saying I had some kind of Bloodline points that upgraded my game to the Deluxe Edition and I could also get the Santa Monica Memories Cosmetic Pack that will allow me to deck out my lair with the same things as the first game.

I've played the original several times too, Hagatha. It was my first RPG.

I am getting emails from the Bloodlines 2 Discord every week leading up to the release. Today it was a video spotlighting most of the characters and their voice actors. I was extreemely impressed! Can't wait for this release.

I've been reading some less-than-stellar reviews, sadly. I'll wait until there's lots of player feedback on this one before buying.

Well, I'm at the point where I can't stay out of it! I am not a fan of the fighting - fist fighting. You can pick up a weapon and use it with your telekinesis, but it's kind of weird. You have woken up without most of your powers, so you acquire them along the way with the help of other vampires. Some of them are very cool during a fight. If I'm facing a bunch of Anarchs who want to kill me, I can jump in the air and pound the ground killing all of them at once! I've grown rather fond of Fabien in my head all the time. When I rest in my Haven, I play as Fabien in his dreams trying to regain his memory. His detective cases help advance the storyline when Phyre wakes up. Feeding on humans with certain types of blood gains me points which I can use to unlock new powers. It's tricky to not break the Masquerade though I'm getting better at it. I wish there was fast travel because I spend far too much time going from one place to another. I can run, but it's still a pain.

Right now, I'm running around underground Seattle which is very strange. I'm assuming I will run into the Gardener, who appears to lead the Sabbat down here.

Well, that sounds more promising. I'm just about at the end of my Cyberpunk/Phantom Liberty run, and I'm trying to decide what to play next. I think it's between Bloodlines 2 and Outer Worlds 2.
