Check out the trailer here.

Check out the official website here.

Quote
FOOLISH MORTALS is a full-length, fully voiced, hand-drawn game in the classic style, inspired by games like Monkey Island and Broken Sword. Immersed in 1930s Louisiana, players take on the role of young treasure hunter Murphy McCallan, voiced by acclaimed actor AJ LoCascio (Marty McFly in Back to the Future: The Game, Han Solo in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Gambit in X-Men ’97, and more).

The story? Louisiana, 1933. Thirty-three years ago an entire wedding suddenly & mysteriously vanished on the island of Devil's Rock, and with it went the location of the lost treasure of Bellemore Manor. To find it, you might need to die too.

Key Features:

Spooky not scary - a cozy game with no deaths, dead-ends, or scares
Dynamic Hints and an expanding puzzle structure make the game accessible to both brand-new and seasoned adventurers alike
Classic puzzles with over 100 items to pick up and use
75+ hand-drawn locations at full HD resolution, plus dozens more paintings, documents, and other details to investigate
A full-length experience, with a gameplay time equal to Monkey Island and Broken Sword
2+ hours of original music, including an interactive big band song
35+ voiced characters to interact with, plus Murphy McCallan, voiced by acclaimed actor AJ LoCascio (Marty McFly in Back to the Future: The Game, Han Solo in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Gambit in X-Men ’97, and more)
German Translation - Vollständige deutsche Textübersetzung vom Point-&-Click-Adventure-Veteranen Marcel Weyers (Return to Monkey Island, The Drifter, Elroy and the Aliens, Loco Motive und vielen weiteren)
Physical Big Box Edition just like the 90s! Packed with 15 physical goodies for adventure game fans
Designed by a former theme park designer, author of Theme Park Design & The Art of Themed Entertainment.

Happy Gaming!

It’s one of those games of which you only have to see a screenshot to know that you have to play it.

AdventureGameGeek recently released a video about the making of this game.

I am absolutely loving this game! After 3+ hours of play time I just finished Part I. The artwork is clear and bright, the game is a traditional point and click and is easy to navigate, you can save at will (although it also has auto save), the voice acting is top notch (I read that Francisco Gonzalez had something to do with that!), there is a comprehensive hint system built-in, and a friend just told me that "H" on the keyboard gives a little nudge in the right direction. The puzzles make sense and advance the story. Some of the dialogue made me laugh out loud. And on top of all that, the musical scene that opens up Part II alone is worth the price of admission. A fun romp which I highly recommend!

Finished this game a couple of days ago. It's great. Had a few crashing and freezing issues which I think have been sorted now but the autosaves didn't take me back too far. Biggest disappointment is that I've finished it! Took me about 19.5 hours to complete. If you're a 3 rd person P&C adventurer, I recommend it.

I know someone who just finished the game and he thought it was excellent. It took him about 15-16 hours. There was an update released a couple of days ago which appears to have fixed any issues the game had upon release.
