I finished Hope Springs Eternal today. I enjoyed it very much the second (or third) time around. So much so, in fact, that I am now starting Shades of Black. I am not ready to leave Carol's world.

I just finished Carol Reed #8 Amber's Blood. That's the last of my disc versions and all of them worked perfectly on Win 10 with the patches installed.

When I started this Carol Reed marathon, I discovered that I had never bought #16 Quarantine Diary, so I think I'm going to play that one now and then maybe continue the sequential marathon afterward.

I am still playing Shades of Black.

I managed to finish Cats and the Other Lives. Overall, I guess I liked it but it could get boring in places, and frustrating. I used a video walkthrough often to make sure I was aiming for the right goal but the walkthrough can't make your hands solve the mini games.

I guess I will need to focus on finishing up Jack Keane 2 next. I'm not really enjoying it that much and it being on my Win 7 computer it's not readily at my fingertips to play. I don't have that computer on all day like I do this one and it's in my bedroom where it has been too hot lately to sit and play.

Good to hear you finished Cats and the Other Lives. I finished Shades of Black today and have started Time Stand Still, which I played once many years ago so it's almost like a new game.

After finishing the recently purchased #16 Quarantine Diary, I returned to my sequential marathon, and played #9 Cold Case Summer. Now I've just started #10 Bosch's Damnation.

I just finished Jack Keane 2. I'm not sorry I played the game but it could have been a whole lot better. For one thing they changed from point and click to click and drag for movement, which got frustrating in some areas. Also, the game was not always responsive to clicking. And then there were the puzzles, which were not all that much fun.

I think I will play Call of the Elder Gods next.

I just finished Creepy Tale: Snow Child a couple of days ago. I really liked it. It's definitely not point and click which is fine with me. A controller is recommended, but I played strictly with the keyboard with no problems, The puzzle clues are sometimes very oblique, so you will need your puzzling skills!

I played Call of the Elder Gods for about 50 minutes. I can't tell if it even saved or not. I guess I'll find out when I go back in it. It really makes my computer run hot and noisy too. So far, I'm not sure about this one. I'm hoping I'll start to like it as I go on.

I just finished Carol Reed #10 Bosch's Damnation. and now I'm starting #11 Shades Of Black.

If I recall correctly, there will be a very brief array of dots bottom right when it saves ob, and my further recollection is that picking something up (or perhaps something that makes a journal entry) will trigger a save.

Thanks, flotsam! I sort of think I caught a fleeting glimpse of movement down there but nothing real noticeable.

Cr*p! Stuck in the game getting sick and don't think it has saved!

Had to minimize the game for an hour, then was able to go back in to finish what I was doing and saw the game save when I entered the Greenhouse. I do wish the save indicator was better and that the game at least saved on exit.

Bochs damnation .....Now Im playing, " The Game Maker " and Loving it ((very Happy)) I love Sweden the sights are Beautiful and I Love Mikael for the Games Very Very Talented Man .... I worked with a gentleman from Norway Named Jukka his Son is on Greys anatomy .... love their language I Guess thats where my love of Norway/Sweden Started

You all are making me want to go back to my Carol Reed replaying. Have fun with The Game Maker, Leeana. I liked all the games but that one and Amber's Blood stand out most for me I think.

I finished Black Circle and am now playing The Colour of Murder. I will probably still be working on my replay of all the games when January 2027 rolls around.

3 Minutes to Midnight

The Good: This game has good graphics and a good sense of humor. It has a well written interesting story with a plethora of interesting, funny and goofy characters. The voice acting is EXCELLENT! The story is divided into numerous chapters with non linear game play in each chapter. You will be running around a lot to numerous locations.

There are a number of different puzzles but mainly are inventory (not always rational) and dialogue (more on that in a moment).

And I know you folks are worried and concerned…...Yes you can save at will and carry on where you left off! Whoo!

Compared to most games on the market these days, it ia a longgggggg game, at least 20 plus hours!!

The Bad: The dialogue puzzles go on forever and drove me to distraction! Some are needed to get a clue or advance the story, but some are just endless chit chat and not necessary at all.. Some are filled with witty repartee and some not. As the characters and story were interesting and the Voice Acting Excellent, I managed to grin and bear it!

The Ugly: There is nothing ugly here! It was a good game and despite the excessive dialogue I quite enjoyed it!! Gotta love Betty, she was a real Darling!

Thanks for all that information, Rachaelenoire2! I had read other reviews about the long dialogue which is not something I'm crazy about, especially if it involves a puzzle. I do hope to play the game one day though.
