We got another 4.5 inches of rain yesterday. That's on top of the 5 inches we got one day last week. Luckily we do have power, just no internet.

Thank heavens I h ave my cell phone... I even watched 2 episodes of Dark Winds on Netflix on it last night.

Well, I was out of my comfort zone today. Had plumbers here. Over a month ago my kitchen sink pipe broke and it took me this long to prepare myself to get this done. Now the pipe is fixed but the faucet needs replacing so they'll be back next week. I also had them change my bathroom sink faucet and the pipe under there as well as the shut off valves, and had my leaky toilet re-seated and sealed. This work only covers about 1/3 of what needs doing though. $$$$ spent! I am just now drinking the tea that is part of my morning ritual. I cannot do normal everyday stuff while I am worried about workers being here.
