Judith did you get a call from the hospital yesterday to schedule the surgery on your arm? Draclvr I'm glad the windows cleaned up nicely! It does make a difference in brightening up a room and making you feel good!

It is going to be another sunny day here. We've had no rain at all in almost 3 weeks. It is windy and with all the leaves coming down it has created a fire danger.

Hard to believe Halloween arrives tomorrow and tomorrow night we move the clocks back...wish we didn't have to move them any more!

Good morning everyone. Wow, Halloween and the annual fall time change. I look forward to the parade of little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and superheroes, each arriving with a smile and an eager candy bag. I so remember those days. This is a good clock change as I get to sleep an extra hour! But do wish they drop daylight savings time! Stay warm Judith!

Good Friday morning. Judith with snow and hagatha wiith thunderstorms... and here we have sunshine and 80 degree F.

I too just wish they would stay with daylight saving time. I love having extra daylight at the end of the day. Now we'll be back to it being dark by 5:00.

Have a bunch of apples that are getting soft so guess I'll just cook them up this afternoon in a little cinnamon and nutmeg. The house should smell yummy!

There are no longer any youngsters in my area so no excited little visitors will be knocking.

I miss them !!

Instead there will be “firework mad” teenagers making a huge racket

It's been raining non-stop for days and there's no end in sight.

There aren't many kids in this area so usually there's no trick-or-treating, but there were two events locally, one at the community centre and one community walk, both to keep the small ones safe.

I don't usually get any trick or treaters because there are no sidewalks in our country neighborhood. No street lights either so it can be dangerous. There are a few that come around, but my driveway is long so they tend to stay away.

I always buy candy just in case...and of course if they don't come I get to enjoy the "treats"!!

It's still raining! I hope it stops before my sister gets here next week. Not looking forward to that drive to the airport in the rain.


More large leaves have fallen so I'll be out there later raking them off the lawn.

Good Saturday morning. It's cooled off some and is overcast today. After so many sunny days, it seems dark! I hate the thought of the time change tonight when it will be dark so much earlier.

Feeling lazy today, so not much on the agenda. Maybe I'll do some Witchering with Geralt. Putting a pork shoulder roast in the oven for supper.
