I'm playing a demo of the game, am at the point when coloured bits whizz about the screen, I'm in the building where I made the potion for Sarah, I have a pen or brush cursor. I assume I must hit the colours which I do occasionally but how do I know if I'm making any progress.

Thank You,

Jan.

Jan that's a wand you are using and you have to hit the head of the color burst in a certain order to beat the puzzle. You need to follow the pattern of colors that the butterfly turned. First color is white at rest, then yellow, green, blue, pink, green and then the last is red.
Did you play with the little butterfly before you entered the building?
The puzzle takes a little time to finish.
Good luck

Ooo err Sue, haven't seen a butterfly, I'll have to go back a bit. I thought it was something to do with the receptacle on the potion making table that has things flying around in it.

Off to look for butterfly.

Thank You Sue.

Sure, no problem lady. This puzzle is picky so just be patient and wait for the colors to shoot around you. Try to hit them on the head as soon as they start forming and have that bead. If you hit the wrong color, set the wand back and start over.

Haven't seen a butterfly, been to the three locations, is it really tiny?
Perhaps I've missed doing something else vital?

Thank You Sue.

I think Reina mentioned the butterfly in conversation Jan. You should be able to find the butterfly after you cross the bridge in the rainy world and I think that's Reina's area. Anyway, the bridge where you had to break the barrier and once over that bridge, wander off to your right. The butterfly will be on the ground resting and will be white. Once you click on it, the colors start to change.
Good luck

I haven't come across any of that Sue, haven't come across Rainy World. Must be missing something vital. The only characters I've come across are the old gent and his wife who needed the headache medication which our hero made.

Thanks Sue.

Okay sorry Jan, I'm not sure how far the demo will play. You've already ridden the railcar to three areas?
The butterfly is in the rainy area and I think that area is obtained by riding the rail car after clicking the bottom left button.
I was wrong earlier, the wand puzzle is in the ice world where Himua is.
Sorry about my goof.

I've been to two locations, top left and bottom right plus the home section where I started from. The other two destinations don't action.

I didn't know you made a goof until you said it, I sort of knew what you were on about even though I couldn't do it, that probably doesn't make any sense either, it's one of those days here!

It seems that I've missed something vital somewhere along the line.

Thanks for your help.

Did you spend time talking to the man sitting outside the hut where Sarah is? He can fill you in on some of the stuff. Did Sarah tell you about her headaches? Did you pick up a vial/beaker like thing in their hut?
The top buttom on the left side takes you to the alchemist or the ice world. Bottom left button on the rail car takes you to Reina or the rain world, bottom right button takes you to Sarah and her husband and the mines, top right button takes you to the cemetery.
What do you have in your inventory?
Again, I don't know how far you can go in the demo.

I do appreciate you helping me 'blind' so to speak.
I've spoken to Sarah and her husband, at the last try he says they can't help him any more at the mo.
Sarah has had her headache medication, she gave me a pink sphere which I've placed in the receptacle where you can play a tune on the tubular bells.

In my inventory I only have the Tetrahedron (I think, from memory) and the Alchemists book from his desk.

Thanks Sue.

Did you play the tune and go down to talk to Fird?
Also you probably need to talk to Sarah again and see how her headache is. See if you can take the container that you had placed her medicine in again.
If the demo will let you, see if you can go to the cemetery and talk to the gravedigger and then see if you can visit with Reina at the rainy area.

Hello Sue,

Haven't made any headway with the tune, no idea what sort of sound I'm supposed to be aiming for. Don't think I've met anyone called Fird.
Can't talk to Sarah or her husband, haven't been able to find the bottle again. Can't action the other locations so far.

Thanks Sue.

I think I clicked on the ball and heard the musical notes, then clicked on the bells until I could get the correct order of hitting/clicking on the bells. When you get it correct, an elevator of sorts will be available to use.

Hello Sue,

Got husband to help with the music part, he managed to do it without too much trouble, the lift came up I went to walk onto it and the demo finished!

Think I'll certainly be buying it when funds allow, love the graphics and animations.

Thank You For Your Help.

Jan.

Oh, well now we know where the demo ends anyway.
The game is a great one, hope you are able to get it soon.

Hello Sue,

Husband has ordered the game for me, he's paying, best way don't you think?

No doubt I shall be back to pick your brains when it arrives if that's okay?

Jan.

Help Please!!!!

I have the game, yippee, got a bit stuck, I've looked at the walkthrough and I must have missed something vital!
In the walkthrough it says that I should pull the lever on the bridge and the machine turns into walking transport, I try to pull the lever and he says something along the lines of he must have missed something.

I've since read through the walkthrough up to here and I can't see anything I've missed (unless it's well hidden of course, LOL).

Help Please.

Thank You.

Ginger go back and check all of your settings please for the stands [the ones with the different colored wedges on them], see how many crystals you have lit and which button is activated please. I assume that you did the map and changed the settings on the steering wheel?

Hello Sue,

I've been back and checked, now I can't remember which ones are which, the panel on the wall of the bridge has three of the colours/shapes lit up.

In the generator room I have five lit crystals (I think, didn't make a note of it, what an idiot) and the green button pressed.

Lit are Green - Orange - BlueLilacy - unlit is the yellow.

I get myself so confused with this puzzle.

Thank You For The Help.

Ginger would you like a saved game for this? I think all that remained to be done was pull the lever. I had a miserable time getting my bug house up and walking too.

I just sent both parts of the save Ginger. Let me know if you don't get them or if for some reason they don't work for you.

Hello Sue,

I have received a single file which is a .bmp through email, is that correct, where do I save it please? I haven't yet managed to find the saves for this game, was going to back-up as there are only 8 slots. I keep saving in the last slot.

Thank You,

Jan.
