Gabby is great! grin
Unfortunately, I never got very far in this game - loved the other ones but thought this was terribly clunky, so can't help you with ideas. As far as the darkness goes though, you might want to post in glitches - I had no problem with dark screens in Beyond Divinity.

There's so much redundant running around back and forth that I would really like to avoid having to go through all that again.

Would it really matter if I skipped the dern sewer? The Chasm of Death or whatever it's called, is also very dark and I just stumble around HOPING to find treasure and HOPING to whack a bad guy.

Is anyone else playing this game?

Yes, I'm playing the game even if the memory check failed. I've also noticed that parts of the sewers are much more darker. But it could be my graphics card that wants it that way lol

The Chasm of the Dead is a quest that you must do to collect the crown for the jarl in Drangheim. And if you plan on making one of your characters a Lich.

Yoo Hoo - back with more questions!

Is there any way to get rid of items in inventory after you no longer need them? They seem to be a nuisance.

Thanx for telling me that some areas are just DARK. It's especially annoying because the auto map is so lame. I wish M&M9 had more of the features of the previous M&M's. Still, its just about intersting enough to keep me going.

I just bought "Outcast". Anyone play that and did you like it?

Thanks for the input and encouragement!

It's been a while since I played, but I'm sure you can get rid of inventory items. I think shift/delete will delete from inventory. You can also place items in a chest.

Outcast is a great game and one of my top favorites. It broke my heart when the sequel was dropped.

Can you get rid of items like in previous games - all you had to do was drag them out of your inventory to your screen and drop them.

I was thinking you could do that too.

Thanx, but delete/shift didn't work and I can't drag an item into an open chest. (I was SURE that'd work!)

You also can't drag them out of the inventory to the screen. There must be a way and probably so simple that I'll be embarrassed when I find it out

I have "Outcast" up and ready to try and if I can't get a bit unstuck in M&M, I'm going to just delete the whole little bunch of characters.

Thanks for the help - if you think of anything else, I'll be here.

Hi,

Look at your Keyboard Commands located in the options to see which key is for dragging item into or out of inventory or deleting an item or so on.

I always remap my keys for my comfort.

In the book it says to use Shift 1-4 to move item in inventory to PC# for instance.

Shift D/Delete to delete item from inventory and so on.

Hope this helps. smile
