Alright, so I'm totally wanting to play a new Time Management game but can't decide what to play next. Anyone have any suggestions or can tell me their favorites? It could be older games too because I haven't played all of them. Here's what I've played: Diner Dash, Diner Dash 2, & Flo on the Go Plantasia Belle's Beauty Boutique Carrie the Caregiver Miss Management Burger Island Wedding Dash Nanny Mania Cake Mania Turbo Pizza Has anyone played Carrie the Caregiver 2 or Cake Mania 2? I liked the originals of both of these a lot, and have downloaded the hour trials but wasn't crazy about either one. But should I try the full games on these? Thanks in advance for any suggesions? ![smile smile](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/smile.gif) -----

Thanks, Sue. I'd been playing mostly hidden object games lately, and am suddenly really craving a new time management game. I know there's others on the forums who've played ALL of them ![smile smile](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/smile.gif) and could help me with suggestions. Jess ------

FOr something totally new in time management, try Build-A-Lot. It is not a BFG developed game, so I am not being biased, it is just a really fun new type of time management game (time management with an element of sim and strategy). It is on BFG and most other sites. It is the most recent game I personally got hooked on. http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/genres/25/time-management.html

I'm more of a hidden object game fan, so I'm fairly discerning when it comes to time managment games -- but I played Cake Mania 2 like a maniac and have actually played it twice through, which is rare for me. If you liked the first one (which I only played after playing Cake Mania 2), I think you'll really like it.
I was a little cool on Build-a-Lot after the hour trial but bought it anyway, and I'm really glad I did. It was easy fun, and I didn't feel as much pressure as I did with Cake Mania 2 or, heaven help us, Burger Shop, which I bought after becoming a cake maniac and the expert level of which I **still** haven't successfully finished (love the game, though -- like Cake Mania 2, it's really well-done).

Mystic Inn was a good one that I REALLY enjoyed, there is also The Apprentice which for some reason crashed every hour or so but it was awesome and I wish it had worked for me.

I hate anything that's timed! I hear that ticking and freak out. I do own the Sims 1 and am a huge fan but I downloaded all the cheats that do away with the times... I rarely really play the Sims but I love decorating the homes. I spend many an hour making furniture and stuff of my own to put into the game. But the Sims like games online are timed and I don't like that.
Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

I thought Carrie the Caregiver 2 was MUCH TOO HARD. For me, anyway. It is a very good game though, but it was really hard for me to get through without some tinkering.
Cake Mania 2 was awesome, but it really isn't that much different from the original.
You might want to check out Sally's Salon. (And I loved build-a-lot too!)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I knew I could count on the boards here. GPM, I did the hour trial of Build-a-Lot too and didn't absolutely love it, but after your comments plus Sally and BFG-Guy, I think I'll have to go ahead and get the full game. Sally, I'd seen Sally's Salon and wondered if I should try it, because I actually loved Belle's Beauty Boutique. Is it similiar to that game? Or more like a Diner Dash type? Alright, I'm off to get Build-a-Lot and Cake Mania 2 (I still love & play the first one, so even if the sequel's not much different I'm sure I'll still love it. Thanks again, everybody! ![grin grin](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/biggrin.gif) ------

Burger Shop is my all-time favorite. I'm hoping they'll come up with a 2nd installment, maybe with some changes to up-the-ante, so to speak. Some of my other favs are: Belle's Beauty Boutique (I preferred this over Sally's Salon), The Apprentice-Los Angeles, Jane's Hotel, Paradise Pet Salon, and Burger Island. I thoroughly enjoyed Plant Tycoon so much more than either of the Virtual Villagers games. Betty's Beer Bar is ok. I liked the original Cake Mania so I immediately bought Cake Mania 2 when it came out...and I think it's so much more difficult than the 1st. It was hard for me to beat Cake Mania 1 one. Turbo Pizza is ok as is Wedding Dash. I've just started Posh Shop so can't give much of an opinion yet. I found tons of time management games at this site, some I'd heard of, others I hadn't. Check it out http://www.shinegame.com/games/time-management-games.html

Jess/ Sally's Salon (which I played from beginning to end in 2 days - it was ADDICTIVE) is a lot like Belle's Beauty Salon, down to the choosing of hairstyles and so on. BUT Sally walks where Belle teleports, so I liked it a lot better because you actually have to "manage" time in Sally's Salon.
BTW, amidst all of this fanfare over Madame Fate, I'd like to remind everyone that Diner Dash Home Town Hero launched on BFG today. You can design your own restaurants and dress up Flo and and and... and ... LOTS OF STUFF!
