I do have one silver sphere. I have tried fighting the one by the stream and haven't had any luck defeating it so far. Gonna go work on it now for a little while.

Cool! Did you talk to the lady elf by the waterfall? She will trade you Tadana for a silver sphere. But you will be able to capture a Tadana later in the game near places with water. She is so darned cute - unlike Worgot! However ugly he is, Worgot blasted the 3 Chaos fairies around the scarecrow in only 5 shots. Have you visited the spell merchant in the cottage yet? You will need to equip your fairies with good spells for both offense and defense.

I've played several times and managed to fill my fairy book. When I go back to the saved game now, I just go back to enjoy the scenery and play at fairy fights. Maybe I'll start a new game sometime....

Oh Mexico, have fun, I love Mexico but haven't been to the real one since I was a kid. Did take a sneak trip to Tijuana when in San Diego a few years ago, it scared the [blip] out of my born in Hawaii daughter. How funny, she thought we would be detained there forever.

How do I get more silver spheres?

You can go to Tiralin and buy them from the little guy in one of the shops.

I am trying to beat Seamus fairies at Tiralin and not faring too well. Any suggestions?

How many fairies do you have and what level are they at? Do you get different fairies from Seamus to fight each time or do they change? If you get the same ones, you can hit your F1 and navigate to the screen that shows you the fairies that will be the most effective against Seamus' fairies. I'd suggest having at least 3 fairies leveled to 15 or better. 4 or 5 fairies would be even better.

I need to get a silver sphere. What shop in Tiralin can I get it? Lana is level 4, Sillia is level 20 and Tadana is level 12.

When you are in the main square, go to the right and keep going until you come to two shops on the left. The first one is an inn and the second one is a shop with a lady elf who sells stuff. Next to her is an elf who sells spheres. Upstairs is a spell merchant. Across the street from the two shops is a Dwarf shop and he will sell you crystals. You can buy some from the Dwarf by the City Hall Steps, but you will need a couple more to buy the Dunmore rune so you can teleport to the swamps. Now THERE you will have some tough fights, so get more fairies and get them leveled up before you go there! I love the music and the Spring Peepers there.

Lana is a good one, but she needs to be leveled up quite a bit more. And make sure you equip them with good offensive and defensive spells too. Tadana needs to be leveled up too. She is a good little fighter, but her life points are pretty low and she gets killed very quickly if she's not leveled up to at least 20. A very good place to train your lower level fairies is in the Enchanted Forest on the way to Tirilin. You will find lots of level 3 fairies near the path and some level 9 fairies further off the path. If you are fighting Lana at level 4 and she looks like she's not going to survive the fight, quickly bring in your level 20 Sillia to finish the fight and they will share the points. It really helps level up your fairies quickly.

I played up to beating the Shadow Elves in the swamps and then made myself quit so I wouldn't get too far ahead of you.

If you haven't defeated the chaos fairies around the scarecrow by the cottage, a Worgot leveled to a 15 will wipe them out in no time.

Okay, here is what I got. Worgot at level 10, Vesbat L 9, Sillia 21, Lana 7, Tadana 14. I also caught Corgot but I can't select him.

Where is the cottage with the scarecrow?

In order to select another fairy you have to go back to London. Just use your London rune to go there to get another fairy. Then you rune back to the Fairy Garden or where ever you want to go.

To get to the cottage, go out of Endeva at the gate by all the houses. Go through the first part of the Fairy Garden, then the second part where there is a stream. I think you go through another part of the Fairy Garden with another stream and finally get to an iron gate. This is where you got the pixie bag from Lucius. Anyway go through the gate and you will come to the cottage with the scarecrow standing guard over the garden. He will have 3 horrid little Chaos Fairies driving him crazy. My Worgot wiped all three of them out with 5 shots! The scarecrow will be very grateful and will do something very nice for your fairies any time you want. Inside the cottage is a spell seller and Lucius who will ask you to capture more pixies. Then there is another place beyond the cottage where you can do more stuff.

Okay, now I understand. You can only have 5 fairies. If you want different ones, you go back to London and choose which ones.
