I personally don't like the hidden object games like "Madame Fate", but I'm glad others do, and that Big Fish Games and others are ensuring a good and evolving supply of such games.

Many types of games, not just hidden object or Adventure games, have you perform some action in the game, get a bit of story, do some more action, another bit of story, etc. I like story - it provides a motivation for me to play. The skill of the game's author(s) comes (for me) in how the game's actions integrate with the story.

Thanks for all replies until now. (Of course, more replies are welcome. :))

However, before I post this thread, I mistook some games as 'Hidden Object'. I thought [Azada] / [Dream Chronicles] as 'Hidden Object' genre. lol

After I post this thread, finally tried those trial demos, and found I was wrong. Maybe that's the reason why start of this thread is kinda... far from our (your) experience & knowledge. Hope you'd understand this. smile

Anyway thanks for all the replies, again!

I sometimes have language problems too as USA words & UK words are vastly different. We do not have corn dogs over here for example. A hidden object game I recently played got over this problem by having a book icon at the side, you could click for a description of each hidden item & it gave you a picture.
I adore hidden object games & could play them till the cows come home.

JennyP/ It was Hidden Relics - I thought that feature was pretty helpful too. (English is my second language)

I like adventure games when I have a large block of uninterrupted time to spend, which doesn't happen often enough. So, meanwhile I love the hidden object games.

mrkwang, I speak English, but I often have trouble trying to figure out what exactly it is I'm supposed to be looking for! It helps me keep up on my English and my ideas of images! grin

Just got this link in my email. It's a list of all of BFG's Hidden Object Games. I didn't know that there were so many!

BFG's Hidden Object Game List

Enjoy! (If nothing else, count how many you have and how many you still "need" lol)

So many games, so little time....

I got that email too this morning...I had posted a list awhile ago of all the HO games...it is here: Hidden Object List

I need to go update it, as I'm sure that I have a few more to add...the last count was 53...of course that includes the ones that sadly, BFG doesn't carry.

Since I last posted in this thread I was determined to "get better" at HOGs so I could enjoy them. I downloaded a ton of demos and started strategising like some of the folks in the other HO thread. Guess what? I'm not that bad at it and I kind of enjoyed it so I just purchased Madame Fate. smile
