I know all the club members know this game is out. If you want a game that has some substance and is going to last a while then this is the game for you. Escape the Museum on BFG.

Hey NYLady,

Here's the answer:
Click to reveal..
Grab the metal pole that is on the left side of the screen.
Place the metal pole on the crate to open it and grab the piece of rope that is inside.

EDIT:

Linds

We must have been posting at the same so I just saw your quesion. The only other site that has the game now is the Macgamestore. I don't know who else is is going to get it at this time. It's a Gogii game so it will be on other sites eventually, but I'm not sure when.

The walkthrough has been completed and I believe Gamezebo will print it today but I'm not sure. However, if any one has any questions you can send me a question.

I wanted to do a little critique on this game but I don't want to start another posting.

This game seems to have it all, or at least most of it. NO TIMER happydance and it does have hard to find objects. Love the special effects which give you a feeling of urgency.

And if you think you found an item don't start clicking randomly, just wait a sec and you will notice if the cursor is moving which indicates that YES you have found something. I really appreciate that GoGii, it makes this game a little more special for me. I really don't like losing time and points because I can't see an item clearly enough and wind up guessing. Or, even worse, clicking on the right item but it not registering. How I hate that.

I have still had to use a few hints but since I have all the time in the world I just keep looking and "cursor hovering" to find as many as I can on my own.

The Escape The Room puzzles have been grand so far and there seems to be plenty of rooms to wander through if the numbers are telling the truth. And as you progress it opens up more puzzles in the rooms you have already been through. The map is wonderful.

thumbsup GoGii and thank you very much BFG for a game that made me want to buy half-way through the demo! Yes, I have purchased this game and look forward to many evenings of fun ahead of me.

**edit: I had meant to note that the music can be annoying but the game being so good makes me forget that. Part of the time I feel like a player in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (sounds like their theme), but the game is still awesome even with the bad music.

I played the demo, used my game credit from Big Fish, and bought it immediatly. Great game, and unlimited clues it seems. I am playing along with you.

I was 10 minutes into the game when I decided that I was going to buy it. There aren't enough games like this one out there!!

Thank you Margie... It being the first scene I wasn't sure what to expect from it. I didn't realize it was interactive... I thought it was just an HOG. I stink at adventure so I'm not sure I will like the game, but I'll finish the demo and holler here if I need help.

I never would have thought of what you told me to do. I guess my brain doesn't work that way... to figure out what to do in these games.

Excellent Game!!!!!!

I just love it, the different levels, having to go back to previous rooms to find even more enjoyment.

It seems to have it all. Dare I say this, I actually like this game better than the MCF games.

I played 1.5 hours and still only completed 8 rooms and there are almost 30 more to go. 2 to 4 levels to each room is great, and the no clock idea really helps one to take their time and truly enjoy the game.

As for the adventure part of the game, you are helped a lot in figuring our what to do, I wouldn't stay away from the game because of this part at all.

The games just keep getting better and better.

Flo

Thanks Margie, that worked... in fact the puzzle part of the game is easier than the hidden object part... what a switch.
I am all the way up to the room with the wires, but I can't find the ring. I'll wait until the walk through is up.

NYLady, the ring is easy, even though it took me a "minute" to figure it out.
Click to reveal..
Once you place the button on the computer on the left, keep clicking on it until the planet with the big silver ring appears. Once it's in plain site, click on it and it will go into inventory.

The button is located on the right side.

cmcd, welcome to GameBoomers. I deleted your other post, please don't post the same thing twice, we get notifications of your posts so we won't miss you. thanks

I have not yet had the pleasure of playing so I checked if Margies walkthrough is posted yet and it is not. Hopefully someone who is that far will be here to help or check this thread for the walkthrough link in the morning.

Hi cmcd,

Here's the answer for the weights.

Click to reveal..
Once you pick up a weight you will see small numbers that go in ascending order very quickly, the numbers are on the side of the weight. You need to click on the pedestal on the left to stop the weight from getting bigger once you're close to the number you need.

If an object is 325 pounds, let one weight go to its full size and then stop the second one quickly once you reach the size you need. In order to beat the game your weight has to fall somewhere in the green line.

Hope that helps, Margie B

It's a little tricky but as you hold the mouse down you see the weight amount go up... you need to click when it gets to where you need it to be. Thank goodness it doesn't need to be exact.

It really helps with those especially hard to find objects. That way your accuracy doesn't go down.
