Update: JumJum 30, Oceana 33, Clunaur 36, Bue 36.
Is that high enough to get the Shadow Elf?

I'd say yes, go for it!
Gave up trying to work in this downpour and came home to do some paperwork. The Bourbeuse River is really ripping and just about out of its banks...

Someone in Union already had 3 inches just last night, so I imagine we're approaching 5 inches out here by now. Yikes! Memories of 1982!

Okay, I have made some changes in my deck of fairies. See what you think of this.
Oceana, water 33 Symgot, nature 38 Bue, Energy 42 Stobat, stone 20 - leveling up Mencre, PSI 12 - leveling up
Each one different. Whatcha think?

Sounds like a good deck to me, but then it always depends on what the Shadow Elf throws at you!
Definitely work on are Mencre as he can be deadly against an Ice Fairy if you get one. Stobat is good, but I'd take him up too just so he has more hitting power. And, of course, make sure they all have the best spells money can buy!
EDIT: Oh, wait. I see you already have a Psi Clumar. He is the higher form of Mentuar and will do extremely well against an Ice Fairy. I found he was as good or better than the next level of Mencre which is what you would be going for. For your Psi Fairy, I'd stick with Clumar.
I've levelel my Jum Jum up to Jum Rock and I always put him in the 5th slot so I can bring him in at the end to "clean up."
EDIT 2: The cat just walked on my keyboard and added about 50 blank lines at the bottom of my post. I couldn't figure out why it was so huge!

Okay, made a change. Put Clumar backin and also JumJum. Am working on leveling JJ up, then will put him in my 5th slot as you suggested. Took out Stobat and Mencre.
Awwww, kitten on the keys.
Edit: Okay, JumRock 38, Lighbue at 45
Edit 2: I am now in the ice caves. :YAY:

Or try this one. I tried the allise pages too and they don't load all the way. I hope it's just a problem with the website. I get text, but no pictures. I didn't check to see if this is the same one as Hawka's link, but I think it is.

Draclvr, that is the one that says "external link disallowed" but it is the same place. I think I used this more than the Allise one though.
What kind of magic spell to use?

I thought it was the same as yours, Hawka... I have it bookmarked like that, but totally forgot to link back to the website it originated from. Thanks, nickie - total brain bubble. I didn't get the external link message or I wouldn't have posted it. Bets, you should be able to get to the other walkthrough in the link Hawka posted.
The kat9 walkthrough here is the same one as the Allise site, I think.

Those ice fairies should be all over the mountain tops, do you have the fairy calling thing (like the conch but for all fairies)? I forget what it is called.

I was just guessing that since the contact e-mail address at the Allise site is kat9 also, they might be the same.
If you have defeated the Shadow Elf in the Ice Caves, you shouldn't have any other big fights other than fighting single Ice Fairies. Your Psi Fairy or your Tinezard (if you have evolved a Tinezard with a fire stone) will really shine against the Ice Fairies. Snag a bear if you can. When you get out of the caves and are on the mountain peak you will also find the destination point for the Mountain Rune if you have it. It's behind some pine trees across a bridge. In one of the Dark Caves up there you will be rewarded with the Elemental Key of Air when you rescue Lasse. If you have the other two keys, you can now ride the screw lift by the Tower of the Dwarves up to the Realm of the Clouds.
It's spring. My life is weeds.

I have defeated the shadow elf and have the Mountain Rune. I have not found the Elemental Key yet. An elf in the cave says I need to find 2 more faries so he can leave the cave. Don't know if this is significant though. Hawk, email them to me please. Maybe I can decifer amongst your scribblings. Bets
