Hi ya, I'm getting bewitched left and right--so since I'm using WASD to control movement, I'd use S to go forward? But I still fire with the left mouse button and fly with the right or do those change too?

Also, do I want to swap Suane (whom I don't have) for Segbuzz (when I get her)?

Have you tried using the mouse to control your fairies? I'm getting bewitched also and don't know how to prevent it. Maybe there is a spell for protection. Don't know.

I did swap Suane for Segbuzz, but I still have Segbuzz.

I've started to play several times today but was sidetracked by an arriving grandson.

I have just arrived somewhere up a stone ramp in the swamp. I picked up 2 pixies--still need two more--and now off to see how many new ways I can die

Edit: I am in the swamp. I can't go any further up the ramp because of the plants. I see the place on the map that I am supposed to go to, but can't seem to get there. There are no lights now--there were some earlier but I followed all of them and that's how I ended up at the ramp place.

Any ideas on how to get where I need to go?

Let's see where to start. You will get Suane (a Light Fairy) after you defeat a VERY tough Shadow Elf in the Arena in the Realm of the clouds - MUCH later in the game. You can get another Driane and evolve her into a Suane when you get the iron key of the dwarves and enter the part of the enchanted forest behind the dwarf by the big locked door.

The stone ramp at the end of the swamp will take you into another part of the Enchanted Forest with tons more goodies and level 11 - 30 wild fairies.

Rune back to Dunmore and try following the lights again. I can't tell you specifically how to get to the island where you will find the Fairy Card of Nature so you can get rid of all the prickly bushes. Just try to follow the lights as much as possible perhaps making sure to bear more right than left. Near that island is a big area of small islands chock full of goodies and more pixies too. But be sure to get that Fairy Card of Nature first.

The only way to avoid getting bewitched is to not get hit by the opposing fairy. Easier said than done! I'm very good at hiding behind a pillar to wait for the spell to go away...

L4L you won't get Suane for a long time, she is in the Realm of the Clouds after you defeat the Shadow Elf in the Arena there. You will have to trade her, I don't know how that works with filling your fairy book, not sure if there is another Suane anywhere, Draclvr should know.

You need the Nature Card to shrink the prickly bushes, it is available in the Swamp, follow the funky lights. You will have to fight off some other elves first, the card is on an island, you can sneak in the back way to get the card, but eventually you will have to fight the elf there too.

There are lights, but they are confusing, I got turned around backwards alot, just keep going, you will have to go through the water, but it is shallow and you won't drown if you are in the right place.

You will have to rune back to Dunmore to pick up the lights or spend days wandering around!

Thanks Guys, going back to Dunmore did the trick. The lights reappeared and I was able to find the island and get the card. I had been running in circles for hours

I was Not able to beat the Bad Guy by the card though. He keeps tossing Ice guys at me, and I don't have any fairies with spells that are effective against them. One time there were 2 ice guys--talk about overkill!

But I did get 2 new fairies, and the card.I still don't have enough pixies though. I need one or two more. I assume at some point I have to go back to the island and beat the Bad Guy?

I really appreciate the help. I hate when I can't keep back up saves to get me out of jams

What will help you enormously with those ice fairies is Psi Fairies and Fire Fairies. You will find Psi Fairies in the Dark Caves (you will get to them soon enough! Try to catch a Tinefoil. He is my favorite fairy, but really tough to catch. When you have some Evolutionary Stones of Fire, you can morph a Tinefoil into a Tinezard. Tinezard with have both attributes of a Nature Fairy and a Fire Fairy. Level him up and he's great against those Ice Fairies.

You should go back to that island and then head off to the left a bit to pick up a boatload of goodies and more pixies. And did you get the silver sphere hidden in a bush on the island? I'm not sure how you got the Fairy Card of Nature without beating the Shadow Elf!!

Anyway, now start going around and getting rid of those prickly bushes.

Thanks Drac, I wrote a post and then lost it. This is my day to loose things I think.

I did catch a Tinefoil. I have an Evolutionary Stone but not sure which one.

I'll head back out to the island tomorrow. I did get 2 silver spheres from the island--one on the bottom of it and one behind the prickly bush. I talked to the owl, but just don't have the --ahem--fire power to deal with the Ice Guys on that island. I'll go later and see if I can find some goodies.

I found the island and got the card, and then daughter called--so I saved the game and Tabbed out to check on something while I was on the phone--Yep, that's right, I had to start all over again when I tabbed back in (but I didn't have to get the card again )

I got the card without fighting him, though I did go back later and do it. I snuck in the back door, so to speak, right near the card, he didn't even see me.

Aha, that mystery is solved. I'll go back when I have chance but with not 1 but 2 ice guys, that is not yet

Ok, I'm joining you guys in calling those stooooooooooopid pixies the "dratted pixies" I have 9 and need one more. There is one in the fairy garden where the dwarf with the thundercloud on his head stays but it runs in and out of the small opening in the hillside and I can't catch it.

I've tried just hanging out near there and it won't come out. Is there anyplace where there are lots? Do they respawn?

Edit 2: My Tadana just evolved into an Aquana. I had an option to not let it happen, but I figured it was a good thing??? Are there times I wouldn't want a fairy to evolve?

In general when your fairy evolves, it will gain lots more life points etc. The only reason to keep it at the lower level would be if you liked it's little personality as is! Or if you are trying to fill your fairy book completely and didn't need one to evolve.

If you have that Fairy Card of Nature, you should be able to get rid of that prickly bush in the way of the Dwarf and the Spell Seller in that cave place. That was when I finally got the little devilish pixie. And buy an Energy Fairy from the dwarf too. He will be VERY useful.

Bets, I don't know what to tell you about capturing a Light Fairy. They are tough to be sure. Things will only get harder down in the Shadow Realm though!

Thanks Drac, I didn't realize they would evolve on their own. I thought they had to reach a specified stage and then I had to use something on them to make them evolve. Now I'm all excited about evolving the fairies

Once you evolve them, if you want to fill the fairy book, you have to catch another one. The nature fairies are particularyly good when they evolve to the higher levels.

There are some really elusive pixies, comes to mind the one that is by that elevator thingy, I think the one that goes to the metal fairies, I chased that bugger forever, trying to cut corners to catch it, that is a dratted one allright. I never did get the one on top of that high thing in the ruins, even with using an air fairy to jump the eddies. The Air fairies I caught were Airia, Luria and Sirael (he evolved to Gorael) in the realm of the clouds, you can also according to my info sheet evolve a Tinefol with an Air Evolution Stone.

L4L, if you want a list of the fairy locations, let me know and I can type it out for you. I circled mine off once I had them in my fairy book.

There are 30 of the bedeviled little things to catch. Yes, that one by the screw elevator to the Metal Fairies was maddening. A couple out in the swamps by the island where you get the Fairy Card of Nature were hard to catch too.

I didn't find the one by the ruins too hard. Did you find the sparkly thing to set off the stepping stone between the columns? Once you use the eddies to get to the top, you can't get to the other column without that stepping stone.

Hawka, I'd love a list--

I have a Tinefoil and a Fire stone--should I go ahead and change him? Or can I even do that yet? Is there a reason to wait til later. If I change him with a Firestone, will he be able to use Fire?

I have the key to the elevator but haven't done anything with it yet.

I did find the air swirls to jump on, but missed the first one and didn't want to die again.

Is this a jump where you have to just go go go, or is it one where you jump, take your time, jump again?

I did get the key to the basement from the guy who sent me Pixie hunting. Should I do that before the Dwarf tower? I can't beat the guy on the bridge to the dwarf tower as he has an Ice Guy! I hate those things and haven't got any fire spells or anyone that can use them yet

I do have Darbue and have mostly been just running around fighting to get some fairies to higher levels. Now that Tadana evolved, I want to see what the others change into

If you evolve Tinefoil to Tinezard, he will have a level one fire spell you can use on the Ice Fairies. But you should level him up a bit first. You will also find that sometimes when you go back to fight a Shadow Elf or whatever, their fairies change and you might not have to fight an Ice Fairy the next time.

You won't be able to jump on or use the eddies until you capture an Air Fairy. And you won't get to them until you have all three of the stones for the screw elevators. You will have to find one of earth, air and water.

Go down to the basement in the cottage to get more goodies and perhaps capture a Chaos Fairy or two! There are some tough ones down there though. Your Worgot will be good against them.

The best place to level up Darbue is with Water Fairies. Go to the streams and waterfalls to find them.

There are stepping stone available in the Ruins? I never found the sparkly things there. Guess I'll go back and look again. I still want to catch that other Light fairy anyway.
