At the end of The Awakened there seem to be a hint that Professor Moriarty might make a comeback. I wonder if Frogwares is going to make good on this "promise", and have a sequel, "Sherlock Holmes: Moriarty Returns"? I would sure like to play that game.

I find it to be just the opposite. Its not supposed to be me having the adventure but the character(s). I find that I am less involved in what's going on in a first person game.

I use to get sick playing 1st person sick, but I started using motion sickness wristbans and pills. But then I bought a laptop and didn't need that stuff anymore. All I can figure out is I have more control of the mouse with the laptop, I can move it slower then the home pc mouse even when I turned down the speed on the home pc. But this is great for those who still get sick thumbsup. And some just like one better then the other. Sherlock Holmes games are great, I love them. catrub But the Awakened was a little gory in spots, but I still really enjoyed it, the puzzles were great. Looking forward to Jack the Ripper.

Re Interact

If you've made a link in your favorites to Interact you'll get this message as I also have had when looking at "Your Account"
But if you link from the Gameboomers link you shouldn't have a problem.
At least that's my experience. Hope all goes well with your search.

Not admitting defeat... is the beginning of the solution.

I'm looking forward to SH VS Jack but wish that they made the game realistic, come on the Ripper murders were not bloodless but some of the bloodiest butcher jobs of all time. would have liked some realism here.

Barry

I agree with you but keep in mind that by adding all the blood and violence you would expect to a game about Jack The Ripper the rating of the game would change from what is now to a game which includes blood and violence and that would exclude a large number of potential players from buying.

There is ofcourse a big difference between 'the game will not be gory' and 'the game will have no blood at all'. wink
Wael wasn't able to show me the murder scene investigation bits and I expect there will be bodies to be examined and splatter patterns to be observed. There's just not buckets of blood. In the real murders, there was surprisingly little blood according to the police reports. In the game, you will have to investigate why that was.

I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

This is a very interesting point, Trinny. Often it is the "bounciness" of movement that makes people nauseous, and setting your mouse sensitivity to lowest, reduces/removes the nauseating effect. Unfortunately, many adventure gamers run PC's with low specs, causing lag or stuttering, which can also produce a neaseating effect.
Setting shadows off, can also help, as not only does it remove the confusing effect of moving shadows, but it lowers the load on your GPU/CPU, therefore producing smoother framerates.

That's a very interesting news Pollo, thanks!I've just finished SH vs Arsene Lupin and I found it quite boring, whilst I've enjoyed very much The Awakened.
I'm probably a bit "vicious" myself but I prefer SH investigate Jack the Ripper than a famous thief, expecially if, as you said, Sherlock will give us some clues about who the Ripper was.

woozy

Yeah Carla, as we know Jack the Ripper has never been found so i am also interested in what the ending will be with the SH game. Will they stick to the real events (and thus SH not catching him) or will he catch a suspect based on the evidence of the time?
